What size window AC unit for 2600 Watt Room?

Should I bigger or smaller on the AC?

I'm thinking 10,000 or 12,000 BTU window unit after research.

Room size is 18 feet long X 7.5 feet wide X 8.5 feet tall and very well insulated.

I'll have 2 Air cooled 1000 Watt Digital HPS inside a 4 X 8 tent for flower and 1 Air cooled 600 Watt Digital inside a 4X5 room for veg. I'm using a 6 inch inline fan @ approx. 444 cfm and a 4 inch inline fan @ approx. 170 cfm. I'll have two carbon filters ( one scrubbing the air coming out of the tent and vented into the attic and one scrubbing the air coming out of the veg room and vented into the attic).

You dont need it that big for that size grow, especially if you built a smaller room for that grow, or a cab..

I cooled 3600 watts of lights with a 10k portable AC, which is inefficient. kept temps at 75 during lights on.

10k can get it done if u run decent ventalation

i would go with the 1 ton, not too much more power, but more room to grow. also thats a pretty large size room! i would find out how much ac a room that size would need & start thinking about heat output from the lights on top of that. if you live in a hot area i would just get the biggest one possible.....
