what size pots for sog grow

sup guys im doing a sog grow of hashberry,some og kush clones, and some very dank whiterussian X whiterhino cross clones...im growing some of these out to be mother plants...anyways i wanted to know what size container i could use on for the clones that i will take out of these mother plants...im doing a soil based sog grow and my growing space is 3 feet area about 6 feet high i was planning to use square 5x5 inch pots...i was thinking of cramming as many clones as i could in the space,,,so do you think i could use this size or should i get bigger size pots?

my pots are re-cycled 5litre square water bottles, they are about 5.5"x5.5"square by about 8" tall (lost my tape measure)....
they hold about 4 litres of water once i have modded them, you'll be fine with 5x5's.

I use 1 gallon pots.

try the search bro. i remembe when i wanted to know the same thing there was a few good threads on it. anyways my personal opinion is the 1 gals are good for 1 week of veg from clones...depending on stretch of course and how fast the roots grow. i would start out with 1 week veg with a rooted clone and flower. at the end of flower remove the dirt and check out the growth on the roots...tons of roots but growth was still quick and unstunted? stay at 1 week veg. medium roots good growth? maybe 1.5-2 week veg. experimenting is what its gonna come down to. my wonder diesels ATE up my dirt no doubt...however my ak 47 did not fill the pops up nearly as quick. so like i said, experiement and youll learn even more than we can tell you in words. peace bro

you could put a plastic bag inside the pot (one with no holes in the bottom) and fill it up with water using a measuring jug just to see how much goes in and take it from there.

your best bet and at a cost of approx 10 cents each cant beat the price, pluss you can reuse them over and over again. i have 1-2-5 gal grow bags love them i also like 2 liter mtn dew soda bottels 1/2 gal soil and i pull 14-21 grams dry consistantly
