I am a first time grower learning more and more everyday, currently im flowering in 15gallon smart pots and the plants are very big. What size pots do people usally use for a what size plant? I like to have them 12"-14" when they get switched to 12/12. Fort that ill just veg them in one gallon pots, do they really need 15 gallon pots to still get hugh?

3 gallon i think may be a bit small since my biggest plant is 4.5 feet tall, two at 4 feet and one at just 3.5. However yes i do find the 15 gallon really big im going to try just filling them about 2/3 I dont really want to go out and buy new pots, live and learn...thanks guys

start/germinate in beer cups, transplant to 1 gallon when the third set of leaves develop, transplant to 3.5 gallon when sex is determined (if you grow from seeds)

6oz. clear plastic drinking cups for rooting clones in coco.
18oz. Solo's for seedlings & clones from the bubbler.
7/8 gal. round food containers for 1st or 2nd transplant in veg.
1 3/4 gal. for flowering.
3 gal. for flowering larger plants.

I clone in Camel Back ice cube trays, cut into 4 tubes each and placed in a 2 liter bottle humidity dome. I use soaked vermiculite and rooting powder.

Seeds and clones grow in 4 inch black square pots, then 6 inch black square, then 8 inch white square. I dunno the volume of the pots. Height is an issue for me, so I don't like the tall white 5 and 7 inch pots. 4,6,8 works for me. Sometimes I will pull one out and put a few inches of damp soil under the root cube so the roots can expand down.
