High everbody

I am curious to know what size containers everybody is using for flowering?

I have had success with 8" and 10" pots. Now I am trying some 14" containers hoping for a significant increase in yield. :smoke:

bigger the pot,, bigger the roots ,,,bigger the yield ,,if done correctly ,,try bogs pot steping for best results

I would move to 3-5 gal pots to finish

Good blessings on a strong grow

I use a number of sizes...6,8,12 14. I also use other things as containers......Soda bottles, jugs that sort of stuff. I just Recently Aquired a Obese sized 10-15 gallon Pot(Not sure exactly)... its really Huge.... I dont know what to do with it. I might be able to fit 1 more plant with it under a 600 watt light....Maybe I could grow Watermelons out of it?

I went to wally world last night about 2:30 am. of course, couldnt sleep And i bought 6 pots 2.97 ea. It didnt say what size or how big. but, I will say they are as big in diameter around as a 5 gall bucket. Just a lil bit shorter. They are a nice biege color. So to reflect some of the heat away from those dlecate roots.. I will finish in these pots.. We will transplant the rest tonight under the moonlight.. hehee.peace.

just a quick question on those measurements....what style container are they.

around here the pots arnt bucket shaped, but rather large at the top, small at the bottom (i know these suck, looking for replacments.) but they are 10" x 9" and i thought they were 3 gallon but now im unsure. :wallbash:  lol

OOPs....:bashhead:

I should have stated the measurements were for round (nursery type) containers.

Different containers made by different companies will probably have different measurements, Different shapes, etc... But you can get a good estimate from the measurements above.

Here is some more info: (to add to the confusion :wallbash: )

"A GALLON pot is also known as a "#1 TRADE SIZE". They do not actually hold a gallon of liquid or dry measure. Actual capacity is .78 to .98 gallon."
