So I have a 10'x14 spare bedroom with a 5x5x8 tent with a 600w HPS in it but want to move to a 1k gravita. I have been using the central AC to keep the tent cool but my apt AC is old and inefficient so I want to get a window unit just for the room.
Using the AC sticky It seems ill need over 10k BTUs to keep the room cool. I was hoping to get away with a 8k BTU window unit as they are smaller and cheaper.
I'll be running DTW coco on a 4x4 table with 9-16 plants. Table will be less than 1 ft high to accommodate the gravita.
Do I really need >8k BTU for a 1k?
I'm also planning to add a 4x4 tent with a T5 or maybe a 400w MH to veg/clone and store mothers in.
So basically in the end I'd have a 2 tents a 5x5(flower) and a 4x4(veg) and at most 1600w of lights. 1k in flower and <600w veg.
