What should my run-off ph and ppm be?

I am in roots organic coco, with H+G.
My ppm out of the tap is usually 100 or less.
I make a fresh res at every water, and set ph to 5.8

I water until i see runoff.

Just wanted to make sure a deficiency isn't a problem from over feeding. (i have a thread in the infirmary)

Organics don't register correctly on EC/TDS meters but you can still meter pH. pH is key, strength not so much. Feed strength depends on plant stage. You can start with half-strength and adjust from there. Too much feed can burn your leaf tips and build up in the medium. Too little makes your plants look hungry (light green among other things.)

Did you rinse the coco before using it?

If you'll click the little red triangle and ask the mod to move this thread to the coco forum, you may get more info.:) Best wishes.

to flush you run water through the plant 2 to 3 times as much water as the container would hold. then after they dry out start with light feedings and work your way up
