What level do I need to run the fan on with the carbon filter?

I have the 32x32 tent with the ac infinity 6" s6 fan that is listed to have the airflow of 402 cfm. I am 2 weeks into the grow and I have started to smell the plants and now want to put the carbon filter on it. I have the ac infinity 6" filter that is listed to have the airflow of 410 cfm. I have the fan on the first setting right now to keep the temperature in the tent around 75 with the 240 watt kingbrite led quantum board on there.

What setting would you recommend I need to run the fan on to have it pull the air through the filter at the speed it needs to have it remove the smell from the air on there? Do I just run it at the speed I need it on to keep the temperature where I want it or does it need to be ran at a higher setting to make it remove the smell from the air on there? It already sucks in the sides of the tent on the first setting on the fan so I want to keep it as low as I can that will remove the smell on there. I have bought some extra mesh that I may use to cover extra holes I may open up in the tent to bring more air in or would it not pull that much on the tent if I put pc fans on the intake vents to help it bring in more air to not pull the tent in that much on there.

Basically, it is whatever works. I would strongly suggest adding the intake fan. The more things you put in the airflow of your exhaust - carbon filter, silencer, elbows etc - the less cfm flows through. Increasing the fan speed solves that, but you get even more negative pressure (tent suck) & the carbon filter becomes less effective. Adding an intake fan would increase the airflow (always a good thing), help to keep temps down & allow you to run the fan at the lowest speed that works in your installation.
