I assumed that i would want one that can measure glucose since that seems to be the last major precursor before everything is broken down into more complex sugars, and then eventually into startches. But im no plant biologist, just another armchair grower, so i really dont know.
There is another one they offer that measures in brix%. I have heard of most people using "brix" meters to measure sugar content, however i am not sure if this is just a slang term for refractometers in general, or if it relates to a specifically to a meter that reads brix.
Any help on this subject is greatly appreciated.
