what kind of odor control do you use

Cat box.
Well it's more a cloaking device but my six tiny terrors get the job done.

In the grow room or on the exhaust vent, activated carbon scrubber, all the way.

I don't burn joints in the house anymore as there are other tenants in a suite. That's where the vaporizer comes in handy. An open window, a fan and a candle lit and you can't smell anything. Even sitting a few feet away. I use mason jars too and if the stink is getting out its definitely a seal issue.

I find using carbon filtration in conjuntion with properly set up ozone systems is superior. With this method you are removing the volatiles from the air as well as the airs ability to carry the compounds. In regards to transport and storage, heavy Poly drums with a wide rubber seal , greased, and then taped is hard to beat. Really all you get is more time, it always finds it way out eventually, sneaky shit it is

Vaportek 4000/w neutral filtres is the most popular. Definitely looks like a good investment, even just to keep in work or storage areas.

Very true. Known as the cone or pyramid of odour if I recall, as referred to in the drug finding business.

I store them in mason jars along with an open jar that has a little ona in it, put into a closed box. Not a hint of stink in the air.

no what i ment is.. what are you storing your weed in after the dry..

put it this way.. i just harvested around 8-10lbs.. right.. im drying it at my buddies were my room was during my move.. and im going to have to move it .. about 15-20 miles from his place.. to my new place.. so.. i need to make sure.. my car isnt going to reek.. and i really dont want my new place TO REEEEEK.. at all.. i want it to be nice and no smell anywere.. im trying to figure out what to do .. maybe buy a small closet type thing.. toss a small carbon filter in there. and exhaust it outside..

but my main thing is.. like.. when u got 10 lbs.. and u need no smell.. are you guys jarring it .. bagging it.. what?
first thing I'd get for that move would be a really quick car, goodluck

last nov. I needed to store around 10bows
in a somewhat somewhat long term situation.
and that was tooo much for glass containers
so I picked up some brand new 5gal buckets at lowes or HD and get the gamma lids to go on each one.
no smell at all, airtite seal and the screw on lid is fast-n-easy access.
another stealthy option is to get lids for 5gall buckets from US plastics

btw,
I have about a bow left and it's smells as sweet as the day it was packed.
I toss a few bovida 62% paks in each bucket.
depending on the bud I can average 1-1/2--2lbs per bucket unbagged loose fill

For smoking odors get ozium spray literally one or two sprays and smell is gone plus it doesn't leave any kinda air fresher smell. For transport NEW JARS stuffed in to turkey bags and vacuum sealed,no smell. Be careful bud, don't want to see you posting a "oh shit I fucked up" thread.

I see you like the boveda packs, too. They keep the weed nice & springy. Low humidity is an issue here in Denver, particularly in the winter. W/o bovedas, every time the jar gets opened the weed dries out a little so when you get to the bottom it crumbles to dust. With bovedas, the last bud has the same springiness as the first.

It occurred to me that I might get some use out of old carbon filters to reduce odors when curing. A filter that's not good enough any more for single pass filtration might still work well as a continuous scrubber in my mostly enclosed drying space. I have a 4" canfan that I don't use, too... I'll try it when the time is right.

You think that these would be safe to haul an outdoor harvest in? I'm planning on just chopping off colas, throwing the colas in buckets, changing gloves and throwing a lid on and then wiping the outsides down. Then again, I don't know how much fresh bud could fit in each bucket.

I figure this is the most efficient way to haul a harvest an hour away.

as long as you don't get resin alll over the outsides of the buckets you cant smell a thing.
dunno how much you have to transport but these are a very good option, 100% no odor.
it's about $10-11 bucks for a new bucket and lid.
i can get about 2lbs trimmed loose filled into the bucket

Carbon filter for the grow, carbon filter for when it's getting trimmed, and I don't really worry about the smell of weed smoke...
