what kind of odor control do you use

mainly.. for buds that have been harvested.. and trimmed..

but anything you have found that helps keep the weed smell at bay.. will work great..

got a few neighbors i reallly really dont want to know that i do anything..

and what about smoking smells.. anyone have a good filter that works for just the weed smoke?

I have a ventilated bathroom and I dry in there. I put activated charcoal I get from the pet store into a mesh bag and ram it into the vent outtake. Works pretty good.

no what i ment is.. what are you storing your weed in after the dry..

put it this way.. i just harvested around 8-10lbs.. right.. im drying it at my buddies were my room was during my move.. and im going to have to move it .. about 15-20 miles from his place.. to my new place.. so.. i need to make sure.. my car isnt going to reek.. and i really dont want my new place TO REEEEEK.. at all.. i want it to be nice and no smell anywere.. im trying to figure out what to do .. maybe buy a small closet type thing.. toss a small carbon filter in there. and exhaust it outside..

but my main thing is.. like.. when u got 10 lbs.. and u need no smell.. are you guys jarring it .. bagging it.. what?

lol thats my problem right now.. i have like 10 jars.. inside a contractor trash bag.. inside of a tote.. and it REEEKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSSSS bad..

im wondering.. if i grab a vacuum sealer.. and some turkey bags.. if i turkey bag em.. then vac seal them.. if that will be good enough to drive the shit around..i think ill do 2 lbs at a run.. so if anything happens. i still have a bunch left.. lol .

I seal the mason jar with wax....melt it in a shallow pan and dip the jar...works great

Please. If jars smell of herb, they're not properly sealed or the outside has been contaminated with resin during handling.

People who do home canning always use new lids & often new rings as well. even tiny chips on the edge of a jar will prevent proper seal.

im thinking the tote its in might be contaminated with resin or something because now that i open the thing up.. and take a jar out.. and actualy try to smell.. nothing can be smelt.. ill clean the thing and see what happens..

wax is a great idea.. especially when selling in large amounts.. u could take 6-12 jars.. and wax seal em.. an sell em to someone.. and KNOW that no smell is going to come from those bad boys so he gets home safely..

Covered the holes on the insides of the handles of the totes with duct tape. Then sealed around the lids of the totes with duct tape, multiple layers because my old lady is super paranoid. She couldn't smell a thing with 5 p's at a time in the trunk. Smelly strains too, weed that smelled up bar rooms from a gram in somebody's pocket.

i'd vacuum pack it or use turkey bags. double turkey bags twisted and rubberbanded will contain odor for approx 24 hours pretty good.

shoot a little fabreeze between the bags.

perfect.. thanks man . my girl is super paranoid.. and im trying to make it as comfortable as possible for the both of us..

also.. in my state.. if your car reeks of febreeze or cologne the cops will try and find probable cause to get into that car..

happened to us after we cleaned out our car of the dog bed and stuff. we vacuum .. scrubbed.. used a carpet cleaner.. and then sprayed febreeze.. an we got harassed for over 30 minutes because the car was TOO FEBREEZE SMELLING..no joke.. guy said we had something to hide.

Double vacuum seal them, throw them in turkey bags then put in trash bags inside a trash can and seal with duct tape.

w/ 8-10 you would only need 3 buckets to be done

maybe also get some Ona going to make the whole place smell "fresh"

i just really dont need my landlord stopping by one day.. and smelling weed.. and voiding the lease.. i dont think they would.. but trying to be safe.. rather then sorry.. only got 8-10lbs for a few months.

Why add wax to mason jars? Sounds like a mess. Buy new lids and follow the directions to soften the sealant they come with.

ONA GEL its amazeing!!! get a block of it and add some liquid ONA Concentrate to it and drill 2-3 holes in the lid of the ona block will take care of any smell that leaks out
