First time growing indoor. Had one of my gorilla ice creams have what sorta looked liked blisters on a few leaves yesterday. Had an oily residue around said "blisters". And then today it looks like this. Running coco, water ph 6.1.

Something in the environment. Not plant behaviour. What did you do?

Not sure. Nothing I can think of specifically. Thought maybe the light was to hot? Water droplets left on leaves after watering, which acted as a magnifying glass may e? The plant that it's happening to is about 2inches taller than my others. Moved it off to the side of the light last night so it wasnt directly under it but still in the footprint, and she seemed to be doing better this morning.

I would need more information:

- What nutrients are you using?
- Are you using R/O water?
- Is the plant on a floor?
- Did you see any insects on or around the plants?

Oily residue sounds like maybe nutrient solution was dripped on the plant. Just guessing, so far. https://www.britannica.com/animal/blister-beetle#ref127113

I'm using megacrop nutes at the moment. Yes r/o water. Plant is off the floor. And no bugs to speak of. The nutrient solution months leaves could be a possibility. I would have to imagine I would have got water splashed back onto the other plants in my tent also, and none of the others are showing this. I'll definitely watch and pay more attention next time I water.

I would try 0.4 EC of flowering solution and 0.1 EC of epsom salt. That would give the plant a little time to increase the root mass (P), and lengthen the stem (K).

Megacrop is not a cannabis specific nutrient. I don't know if it's that bad, however for a first time grow in coco that's a bit of an experiment. I'd suggest using the Canna Coco line first, or Plagron. Don't buy the root stimulators and all the fancy stuff, just flowering food and basic A+B nutrients. CalMag if you have to use R/O water.

If you have to go organic in coco on the first try, then the BioSevia line works. You can get the grow and bloom formula, and start with 0.4 EC of bloom food and 0.1 EC of epsom salt. Just let the plants grow some roots, and then take it from there and slowly increase nutrient concentration.

Sorry for the delay, internet issues.I ordered the coco line. Should be here tomorrow. I'm using ro water because my tap water comes out at 350 to 400 ppm. Was told that was to high, what are your thoughts?

Bingo! That is what it looks like to me. It happens to me occasionally. That being said, it should not develop any further if it is that. If it spreads, of course it is a different condition.

In my opinion 350 ppm or 0.6 EC is just fine.

You should just let it stand for a few hours or a day next to the plants, so chlorene can evaporate and the water is the same temperature as the plants' roots.

I have very similar tapwater and use that. It has lots of calcium and magnesium in it. I still have an r/o filter, however it just gave me to many extra issues. You can re-mineralize r/o water with magnesium lime - a teaspoon in a quart of r/o water and after a day add a quart to a gallon and it's still effective.

My guess is that there are also other things in the water that might be good for the plants, like carbon, nitrogen, trace elements. Even chlorene is a micro-nutrient.

Anyway I haven't seen any negative effect of using unfiltered tapwater on the microlife, incuding the fungi. Mushrooms are a great indicator that the mix is not toxic to life. There are mushroom producing fungi in worm castings, hemp bedding and buckwheat hulls. The hemp bedding always produces ink caps or coprinopsis mushrooms. The worm castings once produced a Wood Ear or Auricularia auricula mushroom.

Anyway, the unfiltered tapwater doesn't effect them negatively.

Ok cool, I'll try the tap water for the next feed. And in a previous posts you said "flower food" from the canna coco line. I was assuming that was the "boost" as I couldnt find anything else. Just wanted to double check. Thanks for your advice and input.

Yeah, the leaves that had that on there are the only ones jacked up, rest of plant looks decent. Thanks for the help

You can use any high P/K nutrient solution (Atami B'Cuzz, Plagron Green Sensation, or Canna PK 13/14), or even Canna BioFlores, BioSevia Bloom, etc. just for the high phophorus content, which will stimulate root growth.
