the fact is that both problems have the same symtoms.but magnesium is much more comum in door, also your leaves are curling up,that sugest that maybe mg is missing, you can try the epson salts flush at 2% ,if is magnesium in few days you will notice the diference.

I'd say it's a combination of overwatering and pH-fluctuations in the soil. Probably the soil has become too acidic, locking out several nutrients at a time. I've been proved wrong by other forum members before, so don't take my word for it. But taking a soil sample and measuring pH won't do any harm anyway.

Good luck!

hi Moppel,

how about some more info? what level of feeding are you giving them? how many times have you reused the soil? maybe it needs a good flush and re feed with fresh nutes at a lower ec, with a ph of 6.5?

do you always have you ph so low in the earth? i always heard soil likes it at ph 6.5? basically with cannabis specific nutes you should be able to get a healthy plant, just so long as you're not giving too much ferts. i would be doing a real good flush with tap water at ph 6.5 then within days she should react positively. some fresh nutes after the flush will speed the recovery.

unless you have not been feeding much at all, in which case it could well be a plain deficiency, but the former seems more likely to me.

Looks like magnesium deficiency more than anything. Try spraying with 1 tablespoon (15ml) epsom salts per quart/liter of water on both sides of the leaves.

yesterday i flushed them with magnesium ph 6,5, (almost)exactly the same as you just you said gaius. let see what happens.

they are in new pots (and soil) since 3 weeks, i was feeding them with ec 1,2. And i would like the soil to have a bit higher ph , yes.

thnx

sounds like you did all that can be done for now, lets see how things go. in theory a flush should dilute any salt build up that might be causing lock out.

did you measure the ec of the water that came out of the bottom of the pots while flushing? i would flush it till the run off ec is no higher then 1.0, then give it a jug of nute solution at the same strength and wait for it to recover.

if the run off ec was already nice and low before the flush, then you are probably correct about the magnesium def. either way we should see a recovery soon.

Spray 1 tablespoon per quart/liter of water epsom salts on both sides of the leaves. It wont harm the plant if your wrong. Magnesium toxicity does not really exist. I am so high. :joint: Send me a pm if they start turning green overnight.

"Bitterzout" will get rid of the symptoms pretty quickly, but this doesn't mean your problem is solved. Nice to have all these plant doctors online, but what about the cause of these symptoms? I still think your soil pH is too acidic causing nute lockout, but hey what do I know...
