What is the least space i could put 2 monster plants?

Hello folks, how are you doing? . I live in an apartment and i have the whole bedroom (10x10)at my disposal for growing. I have 1 growtent for now (5x5x5) which is being used for vegging some plants (7 of them sitting in there).

At first i was thinking of constructing a second growtent (6x6 or somewhere at those dimensions), stacking 3x600w HPS and putting the 7 plants around them. But recently i started getting paranoid about their number, i could have 2 with little to no problems. So i thought it would be better to have 2 monster plants with 5 bulbs (5x600w HPS) around them.

What is the least space i could use for 2 of them and 3000w of HPS in total? The whole bedroom? Ideally i would like to have some spare space in the bedroom for vegging 1 or 2 more plants and have a perpetual system. Ambient temps in the room are sitting in the 70's.

I flower with 3 1K vertizontals in an 8 by 8 bedroom,ideally you want 50 watts per square ft.8 by 8 is roughly 60 sq ft times 50 equals 3000 or 3K

Thanks a lot for your helpful answer bro! What ventilation do you use for cooling this bedroom with 3x1K? I have 5 exhaust fans in total, 1x6" (at 330 CFM), 1x4" (100 CFM), 3X5" (AT 200 CFM each). I am getting confused with the cfm system, i prefer m3/h but you are getting the idea .

Otherwise i am thinking about having 2 5x5 growtents, in 1 i could be flowering 1 monster plant with 4x600w around it and in the other i could have 1 or 2 big plants vegging under 1x600w plus 1 or 2 autoflowers so that i have some extra dank. How many plants you got in this 8x8 space?

I use a 12,500 BTU window shaker,its enough barely if I flower at night.I use co2 so I can have 85 degree temps.I like to run around 15 big plants but right now I have 12 plants 4 different strains,I have the verts on a pulley and can take them up to the ceiling.Right now I have three dinafem moby hash plants and I didnt realize the massiveness.They are like tress and take up the room of five normal indicas.I real vibrant strain this moby hash,a lot of stuff on the google about her

first off, your noid with 7 plants, but you think two huge plants the same size is gonna make you sleep tight at night, it's not. so either you give up growing, or be more realistic might help, bigger is not always better, also do you know the work involved for a 5x5 tent for a new grower?


you need to just make it through a grow first.. second, maybe if you downsize and actually maximize a smaller space you might not be so paranoid..

Hey bro, i am not going to have problems for a few months with heat, outside temps can be as low as 50-60 at night, i have the window open to my bedroom, so i guess i will be ok! Will check moby hash out, sounds like a good addition to my seed stash!

Hey, thanks for your answer. I have completed 3 grows so far, its not my first time growing...If you check my sig and other posts you can see that i modified a 3x3x6 growtent to a 3x3x9 and 5x5x9 later. That's where i completed my latest grow (Acapulco Gold remaining in that tent).

I also have another growtent 5x5x6 i constructed with PVC pipes. Those growtents are taking almost my whole bedroom. So i guess you could say i know the work involved with a 5x5 growtent somehow...I admit i might act a bit paranoid sometimes, most of it comes from the noisy RVKs i have, acoustic ducting and dimmers are not enough to silence them to the level i want them. No big bad boy attitude, i am just in search of the most effective setup for the next few months.

I cut 3 bagseeds, i kept only the 4 feminized seeds i have vegging, they are at day ~40 since they sprouted. So, final plan is to flower 4 big plants around 5x600w. You can see the details in the sloppy sketch i made, would love any feedback from anyone!
