What is the debris that forms in pH probe solutions?

I've had this issue from the start. pH cleaning solution, pH calibration fluid, pH storage solution. They all get what appears to be algae strand/debris that form and float in the fluid. In particular, the pH cleaning solution gets white strands that almost resemble mother of vinegar. I keep the bottles out of light and still this occurs. The probe cleaner has an exp. date and is deionized water, pepsin, hydrochloric acid, and methylparaben. I do not cross contaminate. Solutions? Opinions?
