What is the best way to vent my tent?

Currently growing in a DR80, 250w at the moment.....I just got a 4" vortex and plan on getting my first carbon scrubber(i dont know how the hell i went this long with out one)....Well my question is, what would be the best setup..........fan ----duct---scrubber---pushing air out the tent through the scrubber, or scrubber---duct---fan, where the air in the tent is pulled through the scrubber 1st........Reason I ask is I notice scrubbers only have 1 connection.......The fan will cooling my tent as well.....Thanks, sorry if i confused anyone.......Wedget

why use duct? you can also stick the scrubber directly on the intake side of the fan.

I don't know if you wanted to vent the air out of the tent, but this way works for me.

I used duct and setup a type of inline scrubber. This is a temporary one, the air is pushed through the scrubber and then out the other side.

I plan on making a "conventional" type scrubber as seen in the DIY section, but put it in a tupperware container with the duct coming in one side and connecting to the scrubber. On the other side I will have a duct connected to the tupperware only, so the air will push out through there and be vented. the finished result will look similar to this but much more permanent.



Otherwise I agree with disco if you don't have to vent it, or have room for the scrubber to be mounted directly to the fan. I just didn't have room in my closet for a scrubber too.

Alright mate Here's how I vent my tents.

Large tent: Scrubber -> light -> fan -> roof

Small tent: Light -> fan -> scrubber

Both ways work fine.

Thanks everyone!!!!!.......Sammett, i love the detailed pics!!! Those arrows actully explained alot....I won't need to vent my light as it's not a cool tube, and I don't think i can fit both the scrubber and fan inside the tent...I've split the DR80 into a 2 tiers...Top 2/3's flower chamber, bottom 1/3 seedlings....I guess it's almost idiot proof not too mess it up...Thanks again!!
