What is the best method of germing seeds?

So I finally bit the bullet and ordered some legit genetics (Mosca's C99 BX1), but I want to make sure I don't screw anything up and lose any of these seeds to stupidity.

What does everyone think is the most foolproof way to germ seeds (I'm planning on growing in organic soil, and I've never had luck just planting them directly in soil and watering, the water always seems to wash everything all over the place). I've heard soaking in cups isn't really a great method, but it's what I've used in the past for bagseed grows. I tried searching the forums for this topic but I couldn't really find a consensus. Thanks for any tips!

med-man method - fill beer cups with water, cannabolic stacker, add 1.6ml/liter 35% h202, let sit in sunlight as much as possible.

the extra oxygen aka cosmic chi mixed with the power of the solar waves makes for unreal germies. i always tap tap roots in 24-48 hours, with fresh beans that is. they go into rockwool, coc or soil on day 3.

i like the water soak becuase the tough shell really softens. theres alot of kinds that have a tough time do to the shell of some given strains. good luck.

i get almost 100% with the following method:get a small rubbermaid storage container with a lid(4 inches by 4 inches by 3 inches high about)i use duct tape to darken the outside of the container, then i buy some sponges that will fit inside the containers with at least 1/2 inch of space left in the top with the sponge inside and the lid on.wet the sponge, fill up th container about 15-20% with water, put the damp sponge in and the water should come up to about 3/4 the heighth of the sponge.now i just wet a brand new j cloth right out of the bag and fold it up nice and put my seeds in and then fold up so the seeds are inside the jcloth(paper towels work just as well)put the lid on the container and put on a heat pad made for seedlings.i find that using this method your paper towel never dries out even if you forget it for a few days.you need the heat pad for good germ rates, but the heat pad dries out the paper towel.thats why the sponge is in there,to keep everything moist.works every time!!!!!!!!make sure u wipe out the container before use with alcohol every time!keep it clean, warm and moist!!!!

Ain`t that the truth .

All you need is the right temp & H2o . I have used wet paper towels before but now prefer a 24hr soak in warm water the temp of the propogator , then into a good seed compost/block at the same temp , usually low 70`s . 73-74F i find ideal .

I know saying this will get up someones nose but i HAVE PERSONALLY found that if the temp is any higher it produces more males so doe`s temp fluctuation .

Seeds that have been in storage get 24 hr soak then planted into dirt. Fresh, new seeds go directly into dirt.

you guys do all that huh? lol

just do what bobby stainless and some others said minus all the extra shit.

get a cup, fill it halfway with water, drop your seeds in it and wait a day or two. keep the cup somewhere warm. cold slows down all atoms including the ones in the seed telling it to grow.

after a day or two they will have tails like the pictures bobby posted. take the seeds and gently place in whatever media, water and wait for them to come up. they will come up unless you fucked something up when placing them in media.

second method is plant directly into medium, water and wait.

A wonderful tool that has proved itself invaluable is a "crystal nail file". I saw it at a spa, and purchased it after realizing that it's perfect for gentle seedcoat scuffing. It's much finer than other files, and it never loses its grit like sandpaper.

Also, a tiny bit of liquid ormus helps a lot. So does germinating according to the moon phase (I use the Farmer's Almanac Gardening Calendar for reference)

Yep, just put em in your medium and water em in. They're seeds, they're supposed to survive if they get the chance.

i used to stick seeds straight into soil/coco depending on what im growing in, and i gotta say. the seeds in a glass of water really works great! and its easy to keep the right temp aslong as you have a heat pad..

good luck! either way you go im sure you will have successs! just make sure they dont germ in a area that is to cold, later!

always put them in wet paper but first in the freezer so they get some frost first. All kinds of seeds likes to get frost before sprouting..like in the nature.Still them on the telewision in some tupperware so they got some heat-that should give many males-not at all..
got many females in those ways..more than 50-50.

Give them water ! and love.
