What is the best auto for me?

Good evening all,

I am currently finishing up my 3rd grow and I am looking for ideas for future grows with autos. I am currently finishing up one Purple Mazar auto (didnt turn purple at all) and have 4 more PM seeds that just cracked and put into rooters. I just switched my 250hps cooltube tent to 12/12 a week ago for a Afghani Milk and a Pineapple Chunk, but to be honest the 12/12 is boring to me and want to switch to all autos after this 12/12. I am ADHD patient with Insomnia so I have lots of time on my hands and love the ability to tinker with the autos anytime I want. I prefer a mix of heady high for daily use and more of a stone for my night time sleep. Suggestions from what you have already grown would be appreciated. My plan is to grow 4 or 5 at a time. This has become a hobby as much as meds for me, so seeing the early flowing makes me happier. I am not looking for a huge crop since this is just for personal use, but an oz. per plant would be nice.

For equipment I use a 4x2x5 tent, 2 90w triband ufos for veg, a 250hps cool tube for once they start flowering. For the medium I use light warrior, happy frog, and ocean forest in 2 & 3 gallon grow bags. I have 34" of upward grow space with the cooltube at maximum height.

For autos I have grown White Dwarf, Purple Mazar, and Poison Dwarfs. Love the white dwarf smoke, poison dwarf is ok, and have not tasted my PM yet. I have read dozens and dozens of auto grow journals and will be starting a journal here once my PM's sprout.

The majority of the autos I've grown, about 12 stains now, are primarily indica based. So far the ones with the most up highs are Snowryder and Russian Rocket Fuel. The heaviest hitting have been Himalayan Blue Diesel, White Russian and Mi5. You might not have enough vertical space for Mi5 unless you LST it.

id bang some regualr seeds on 12/12 from seed

check my diary in my sig for results, you might as well utilise the light cycle while your flowering your plants.

if your gonna switch back over to autos after your plants have finished have a look at stitchs range of seeds which includes onyx,mi5,russian rocket fuel, himalaya blue diesel etc etc you can easily pull an oz off these plants and more depending on your style of growing, 34" in height is adequate but sometimes its about the width of the plants cause some of them can get close to 1 meter wide

muddy, thanks and I have some HBD in route already, heard good things about them. I have been contemplating the MI5 as well.

skotty, I am on my 3rd auto purple mazar from stitch, the first two hermied and the one that has two weeks left looks good but NO purple (wife is not happy about it). I have 3 more PMs that cracked last night and went into rooters this morning, I will run these out to see what happens. I have done the 12/12 from seed as well as clone, I just prefer the hands on of 20/4 non-stop lighting.

i was just advising on beans that i know will yield over an oz each if your not happy with stitches genetics then you could try lowryder #2 , big devil or even maxigom which im hoping to add to my collection real soon, on the flipisde he does produce some potent strains with his ss range of seeds

also the effect of the high can be determined on the time you chop your plants,for example muddy said his mi5 was a heavy stone where as mine was a more head high happy buzz, these different stones can be determined by the trichs on the plant, i chopped when they were cloudy where as muddy might of chopped when they were 50 - 50 amber cloudy it changes the effects you get from you smoke.

try it yourself with your purple mazars chop 1 of the plants when the trichs are cloudy and then chop the other 1 when the trichs are 50-50 and see the difference

Absolutely correct. Mine were harvested when they were about 30% amber.
