In Bred Line

Generally its reffer to True breeding variety but its really just any hybrid that has been in bred

it means Inbred line, as in a strain that had been been interbred enough to stay stable through sucessive generations, though some people use the term far more loosely. There are a ton of people around here who know alot more about this than i do, but even i recognize that the term is being thrown around a bit too much lately.

All I know is F's is basically the generation of breeding.

Like if you take Strawberry Cough x Haze yourll have:
Strawberry Haze F1.

If you take a male and female strawberry haze and cross is by another of the same strawberry haze, its an f2. At least..i think

rez took an east coast sour diesel cut and crossed it with a soma nycd male f1 then he selectively crossed the male offspring back to the mom creating the f2 generation then selectively crossed boys of that second batch of seeds back to the original mom,f3 then did it again resulting in the IBL something like 95% true genetic i hope i got that right!

Here's a good thread also

dont quote me now

p1= parental plant-usually landrace-pure sativa/indica
s1= a selfed plant in order to get seeds-og and bubba s1's-usually done with clone onlys
f2= a cross between two f1's, which resulted from the p1's

am i in the ballpark?
