Usually I would put this in the OG Kush subforum, but I put it here because I don't think this is really an OG. The concentrate is what seems very popular in southern Cali, but I had the flowers (from RAB) and they do not give off an OG vibe whatsoever. Anyone have the scoop here? For one thing, the smell gave me hints of blueberry which you can get in some OGs, but I also got a more dominant bubba smell? Maybe even Headband in there? I think I went back and forth on several different things trying to put it together...bubba, master, Sour D, maybe even GG#4 crossed with something, but I can't figure it out. It is a nice smoke as I found myself reaching for it over and over.

The hardcore is some sort of OG cutting that came from a Russian crew in Los Angeles. Made famous by west coast cure. I'd be interested to hear about the true genetics for sure.
Another OG lineage bunfight... Moooommm keep my dinner warm this is gonna be a long one!
Obligatory "for what it's worth" because although I was told this info from a reputable source in the SoCal Canna scene, it was a few years ago now, and he could have very well been wrong...
Hardcore OG is Paris OG x Original Diesel.
The way it was described to me at the time (again, this was a few years ago) was that Paris OG was for flowers, and Hardcore OG was for concentrates. Obviously things have changed in the last 3-4 years.
Hardcore OG concentrate is (was?) supposedly a mix of 2-3 different selections from the seeds. The little bit of it I tried from WCC was nice. Good color, consistency, flavor and effect.
I am sure if any of this info is wrong someone will gladly chime in to correct it.

What I had heard was the Hardcore OG was a pheno of WhiteFire OG that WCC bought from Jungleboyz for their concentrate-only grows. One of the non-keepers compared to the 43 that ended up being Jungleboyz flagship cut. Wouldn't sell as well if there weren't conflicting stories and drama attached to it lol fuckin so cal.
WCC had the hardcore Long before the jungle boyz did. I talked to JP Bhomb of WCC about it at a concert while seshing. Said he picked it up downtown Los Angeles from a Russian crew of growers and they really didn't know the backstory on it.
