Hello guys, I need your help. What is a good temp for indoor growing??
Currently my temp is reading about 94 degrees. And I keep the light on for 18 hours and 6 hours off.
Is this ok?

Thank you

94 is WAY! too hot.

You don't want to go to high above 80, I like 75-80 during veg, and around 70 for flower.

18 on and 6 hours off is ok for vegitating, you'll want to move to 12 on 12 off when you want to flower.

94 is a little to toasty for my liking. I like to try and keep things around 75 if I can, but even if you could get it down to 85 they should be ok.....

Yep 94 F is too hot, around 75-80 is what I would aim for. Perhaps get a second fan :chin:

If you got a cool mist humidifier 90 degree temps in veg is not too bad,you definately dont want that in flower though without co2 enrichment

Ya, I have had a crop bud in about 84 and it turned out great. I wouldn't go any higher though, and like stated above 75 is probably your ideal target temp. Good luck!

Temp ?

Temp ?

Hay gang.

I have a question about low temps.

I have 9 girls in soil, in a 12 sq. ft. closet under 400hps. Today is day 22 of 12/12.

It's the middle of winter and the closet gets COLD.

I opened the door today when the lights switched on and the thermometer read 40 degrees Celsius. I KNOW that is way too low, but I'm afraid that raising the temps with a heater will also raise the humidity, which is about 60%(lowest)-70%(highest). I believe that is the ideal range for humidity.

I may be wrong but, I think it's a little early for me to tell if the low temps are affecting the girls. However, I thought I'd pick the brains of my fellow growers and find out if these low temps, this early in flower, could have some sort of negative effect either now or in the long run.

Can low temps stunt their growth? I have a fan in the closet with them but I don't turn it on at night when the lights come on because the heat from the light helps raise the temps. I do l turn it on during the day, though, so I don't run the risk of mold since the humidity rises with the closet door closed.

The only solution I've found, so far, is to open the door just a hair, when the lights come on but keep the fan off, that raises the temps to about 60-65 degrees max. and it still keeps the humidity down.

Thanks in advance for any advice, comments, or suggestions.

Budhown--Run a heater with the fans on and it should keep your humidity around 50%

set the heaters thermostat to 65 degrees F. The dry heat and fans running will keep the humidity under control.

If 90 degree temps cant be remedied, get a cool mist humidifier and your plants wont miss a beat(in veg of course)
