what is eating my plants

well i have a mystery bug eating a few of my plants its like catepillar damage. I have not yet seen the bug, it has damaged 4 plants. I have gone in in dark 7-8 times and not seen it . I seem to get this on every crop usually my plants outgrow it and leave the bug in the dust. This time it has been especially focused on the new leader growth which is pissing me off. Where do these fuckers live and why have i not seen them, and how can i kill it or them. i put out those sticky fly trap between a few pots no luck and very sticky to work with.

i do have a cat but it is impossible for cat to get in room. it is completely sealed and door is locked. would earwigs do damage like that?? ive never seeen one in my room though.no wet spots near leaves it is definitely chewed on by something . The only insect i have seen in my room is spiders, and im pretty sure they dont eat weed.

hm...weird, never seen that kind of damage caused by insects
I dont think you have the same bugs I've had (the red ones I mentioned in another thread) because they multiply extremely fast and are easy to discover

so no one has ever seen this before, besides cat damage. unless i have an alley cat residing in my room hiding behind pots as i enter

Hi,

Just a silly idea : a ventilator/fan close to them ?
(yeah, you probably already check these but nevertheless, I'm asking )

Sometimes when nutrition is not perfect (and probably with the plants growing rapidly), it is possible for a leaf to stop growing, distort, and give the appearance of being bit off.

come to think of it, I once had an entire batch of white widow ladies with inferior Nirvana genes that didnt look EXACTLY like that, but similar enough for you to consider the possibility coz genetic defects vary

no they appear suddenly and you can see the fresh inside of the leaves it is defintely being chewed by what i do not know maybe the spiders are not eating well and are turning vegetarian

Look into the corners and underneath some stuff for signs of this. My bet is still on Mickey.
