What in the actual fuck?

Running a micro grow which you can check out here. She (zomg!) is a cross I made myself between a stinky, fast growing Satori male and the best Arjan's Haze #3 female I had at the time.

I opened my box today and found this:



Problem is...neither of those strains are autoflower...the plant has been on 24/0 since it popped, that was about 8 weeks ago. There have not been any other strains in my grow for a year and they have never been outside.

What is going on

Running hydro...but in a very confined space. My rez is like 1.5 liters max. This one loves to drink...I have to refill the damn thing like every few days or so...compared to a maybe 2 week old White Widow baby which I've never refilled the rez for yet

Somethings are temperamental. I have one mum that preflowers if I pass gas too close for comfort. Stupid bitch, if you weren't the favourite of all my children....

My nevilles haze would do this all the time in veg when I still had her. Never went farther than pistils, even when I vegged a few for months after they started doing this. Never hurt anything as far as I could tell. Maybe it's just a trait of sativa dominant genetics

This happens to all my dj lines when they get rootbound, even under 24 hrs light.

Looks to me that its nothing more than pre-flowers showing sex.

Those are pre flowers. That's not the same thing as flowering. It's a mature plant demonstrating its gender.

Goes without saying I'm far from an expert but a plant throwing preflowers at 8 weeks is not really out of the ordinary in my experience, even under 24 hour light...

The SSH mother I used to keep was covered in white pistils, from head to toe, and my mother cabinet stays 24/0 year round. I think haze genetics are proud pre-flowerers.

Thanks for all the info. I was just surprised and due to limited experience had never seen this quality. Have always needed at least 14 days of 12/12 for my plants to show sex. This combined with lots of stinkiness already...good signs, right?

I REALY do find the 24/0 cycle to b difficult for some plants.
Tried it many times and always drop it back down to20/4 for the exact reason your showing.

Flip off the lights for a few moments 2-5min and you will b blasted by strong "green, cut grass " smell of the plants relaxing and exhaling/opening stoma and reacting the the (night cycle).
Iv got some old cuts in my library and some are much more sensitive to a 24hr day. The. 4 hr off seems to help them play well with others and stay happy.

Ether way it's nothing to worry much about as things to its prety normal.

Had this happen in my veg tent ..its sumthin the plant will do under stress..certain strains do sum Dont..I had a veg tent timer issue so had to run it 24/ 0 a month straight..had same results as u..happy to tell u I'm bout 2 weeks from the best lookin harvest I e ever had ..they'll do fine I'm sure ...happy growing
