So yeah, kinda interested in doing an outdoor run this season with some auto's. I have a few questions about them though...

Can you clone an AF strain? If so wtf happens?

Any recommendations for a strain that is decent to high yielding strain, that stays relatively low in height 2'6" or less, low odor, and nice tasty smooth potent smoke?

It is a real pain in the ass to get a cut from an AF to root. Once you've successfully done that, you will find it to be a complete waste of time... At least I have. Try LR#2, shortstuff#1, Auto-Ak47, Easyryder.

yeah, i wouldn't start trying to get cuts from autos, you'll largely be wasting your time.

i would select your beans now (plenty of info in this forum) get a quick seedrun in and select what strains would work for you, where you are.

plant out as it warms up, depending on ground temps in march/april two runs a season outdoor is achievable.

check the outdoor threads from your area in the outdoor forum, also lots of general info there!

i didn't make any recommendations, oops...

autoWR = low odour in my lines
OriginalLW = low odour (and yield, and potency)

To be honest autos are quite inconspicuous anyway, 5 autos is a lot stealthier than a stinky 6ft bush in my experience!

Precisely my thinking!!! So yeah, gotta get on this seed run! I live in Central California, laws are pretty lax around here but I certainly still want it discreet as possible. As I would hate to get ripped from a neighbor or sumthan. My only problem with AF strains is over all yield and numbers to achieve those yields. I would like to produce over a lb on each run I'd do, but it seems unachievable using sb 420 state guidelines of 6 flowering plants at a time. Or is 3oz off an AF fairly easy to achieve on some strains?

I would definatly try for a big seed run of the tall pheno of Sour 60...may be the best fit for your needs...except maybe odor.

I think you will struggle mate, if you plan on 1.5+ and use the newer autoflower genetics you wont be far off.

step

1) if you don't have many Auto beans..( is to make babies !!
(as cloning isn't gonna happen)

2) is to grow some Autos and say every other harvest make some more babies on the side...


3) Have fun with them tomatoes !!!

Another tip....

if your doing a seedrun indoors, make/get some colloidal silver to make 100% Fem AF beans.

It will defiantly help keep your plant count down and is not hard to do, check the DIY section.
