Grown from seed, about 3-4 weeks old.

In new canadian spaghnum peatmoss with EWC, lime and perlite per LC's mix #1 on organics for beginners. The lime however is epsoma garden lime that I pulverized into powder and used a tad more then asked for. The ratio of Mg:Ca is 1:2,but iknow there is clay or polymere probably, but I have looked and looked and cant find anything at home depot lowes or any nursery around..

Anyways, so I have fed them EWC, blackstrap molassas tea every third watering. I'm planning on starting the veg tea soon. could this be because of the hardness of my water? My water is 0.4-0.5 EC.. or 280-300ppm (x7) or 200-230ppm(x5).
I DO bubble the water for 24 hours prior to watering or brewing tea.

what is the problem? I can only see it coming from my inadequate lime, or my hard water, other then that i've followed LC's mix #1 to a T

Notice the combination of slightly brown tip, followed by yellow, followed by purple blotches around the edges.

Any help is much appreciated

they are too young for ANY feeding!
you have a good soil. why are you feeding them? they have all they need from the soil.
and i think, that maybe you over water them? the leafs are down and its a sign of over watering.
flush you soil from the feeding and let the soil dry completely before watering again.

hope that was a help for you

I dont think i've fed them yet. Just teas with EWC.. No nutes, no nutes in the peat moss...
and I let it get very dry before watering.

Those teas are burning your seedlings. Use only PH'd water until they look hungry again in a few weeks.

agreed, the soil has more than enough nutrients in it to sustain the plant well through veg.. the added nutrients in the teas, although light, are creating an issue.. if it gets worse it could lead to toxic lockout/nutrient deficiencies..

PH'd water only for bit..

Hope they perk up :)
