I live in a zero tolorance state, so I dont generally post pics. Every once in a while I will.

Just dont show your face, or any details like posters, or adresses or anything that can be evidence. Make sure their is no finger prints on the camera lense.

lemme see somewhere in your internet contols advanced options I dunno google proxy server as well as mirror site.the mirror site charges a small amount for data encryption or to reroute data through their ip so it doesn't show as yours also might be browsers that might help. I dnt post pics because i have a cheap camera and am lazzy:joint:

it depends on your risk tolerance but it is too much risk for me unless i absolutely needed to do it, like if there was a horrible problem with the plants that i could not figure out.

i have looked through people's pics of their grows and found all kinds of potentially useful details, like jewelry, tattoos, skin color, gender, views into different rooms, reflections, etc. sure any one piece of info may not sink you, but if someone takes the time to connect the dots there could be problems. why take the risk?

if i were going to do it i would wear a jumpsuit, black goggles, balaclava, heavy duty latex gloves, remove all jewlery, totally clean the photographed area, black out all unnecessary parts of the image, etc. wipe out the metadata of the pics too.

as far as ip addresses and keeping your internet use anonymous, there are plenty of resources online and in the library that you can use to find out the basics of how the internet works. once you learn that then it is not too hard to figure out virtual private networks, proxys, etc. work, at least well enough to use them, and figure out how someone could track you based on ip address, mac address, whatever.

if you really want to learn google "internet protocol", "transport control protocol", "the osi layer model", and start from there. wikipedia is a good place to start. don't sweat it, its not rocket science.

i've posted mine but i'm a med-user with a nevada license and my grows never exceed the maximum allowed ; )

but i wouldn't if i was growing a commercial crop or lived in a state that's harsh on growers unless i was using a proxy and even then, why? unless you're showing a problem or asking about something regarding the grow it's just showing off our efforts, as we all like to do! but pride can be costly...
