the soil in those pots is promix from what i have read its the best kind of soil to use... they are 3x bigger and healthier just a week after the transplanting i ll take some more pics as soon as its not dark time to show you guys... they look nothing like that now
this is one watering with superthrive after the transplant, whats better to use super thrive, bat guano, or i have some cottonseed meal? what would be the best for them on a regular basis by that i mean every two to three waterings?
i'll be taking some individual pictures next time i water them.
DS tis hard to say whats best to use is there a hydrophonic shop around you ??? if so they should stock many types of nuterients there.
here is what i use
Fox Farm products
grow big = veg
tiger bloom= flower
big bloom= flower
non fox farm products
seaweed extract=veg
diamond necture= root mass devolopment
epsom salts for extra mag now n then during flower
bat guano=soil amendment veg
blood meal = soil amendment veg
blood meal= soil amendment flower
dolimite lime= both veg/flower helps to keep soil ph swings more in check
oops forgot dont use superthrive if your gonna flower soon
nm i found them online... i ll just order them there... now the epsom salt and the bat guano i have, and what is the best way to use them? i have been doing 1/4 teaspoon with the soil every other water with the bat guano... and you just enlightened me about the epsom salt, how do you use that?
your plant's look good man. i don't know if its me or if i'm crazy. But i have the whole fox farm line ocean forest potting soil, big bloom and grow big and other random stuff that the guy talked me into buying. but it seems every time i fertilize my plants that are flowering they start to look sick. so i just pretty much minimized all together the amount i give them. and i followed the directions on the bottle. now i'm down to 1/8 of the half cup they are supposed to get. if you just fert every two weeks. maybe i'm not doing something right. but what i have come to realize is that simple is always better. with my plants anyway
If you used promix, did you add dolomite lime to the soil? With promix especially its very necessary, if you neglect to mix 2 tbls per gallon soil mix your soil ph will probably drop to around 5 in flower, happened every time with me.Dont panic I grew killer plants its just that they were even better after I started adding the dolomite lime to my soil mix.I dont know how I flowered so many good looking plants with a 5 soil ph but I did it more than once, you'll find the lime will make it even nicer
thanks for the feedback dude... i pretty much am too broke to buy the foxfarm nutes right now and superthrive is working the best so i think i am going to just stick with that... its simple... like you said haha!!
btw your plants look pretty good too man... congrats!!!! where did you get that tall green house thing?
well i havent added dolomite lime yet but i guess i should... my water ph is 7.0 right now i have a ph water and soil testers... my soil ph i havent tested in a week or so i should check that out... thanks for the heads up man!!!!
