What do you think I'd yield with this setup?

Strain: Hashberry
Breeder: Mandala

Medium: Organic Soil
Nutrients: Organic Teas

Lighting: 400w HPS
Room: 3x3x7 Cabinet (LxWxH)

CO2: None added
Temps: Lights on 80 to 85, Lights off 70 to 75
RH: 40%

I would like to veg them until they are 8 to 10 inches tall and then flower, they will stretch to 2 to 3.5 feet tall at the end of flowering.

I will have 9 plants from seed in the 3x3 cab, hoping to get 4 to 5 females.

They'll be grown christmas tree style, no topping, no LST, no scrog.

What would you say I could yield? I know it's hard to guess but surely someone has a rough estimate, I am hoping for atleast 1 oz per plant.
(I posted in mandalas forum but its kind of dead over there tbh)

Depends on your skills and some other factors as well of course.......

1 gram per watt = 400 grams
.5 grams per watt = 200 grams
.25 grams per watt = 100 grams

Somewhere around the middle figure is most realistic I think.

Your cabinet height is only 3' ? And you plan on growing them christmas tree style with a 400 watt in there ? I think that you will run into height problems if your cabinet is only 3'.

Ok. Usually people would also the include the height when they describe the dimensions of something, but it's all good, lol.

Obviously, you won't have any height issues then.

3'feet only WITH a 400watter in there, your gonna have to train them to stay low my friend,I think it will be hard to get xmas trees for your height..mabey mini trees.
I agree with GReenhead somewhere around .5gramms watt. But could always be less, pending on so many factors. GL

wow... forget it lol?

people its 100% logical when someone says something like 3x3 it means LxW... I didn't think i would need to specify that it was LxW because it's the 'standard' for that type of measurement!!!!

when they include the height they go 3x3x7 (LxWxH)... lol?

seriously wtf whenever i see someone say something like 3x3, 4x4, 4x5 or whatever it means LxW?

Not at all, if you're describing the dimensions of something such as a cabinet, it should include three figures. The height is the most important one, and you left it out, lol !

The fact that everybody who posted in this thread so far thought that you had a height of 3 feet, shows that the error was on your end.

But like I said, it's all good.

There you go ! There can never be any misunderstandings when you describe it like that.

Good luck with your grow !

Thx bro looking forward to it!

I hope someone who has completed a similar grow sees this so they can chime in, Im setting my expectations very low, so I am only planning on harvesting a QP (4 oz), but I would like to know if anyone has gotten more, like a HP (8 oz) from a similar grow setup/style. I know 8 oz is possible, just not sure if it is likely with 4 to 5 females with such a short veg, and untrained at that.

Im not sure but i believe this post is considered flaming/trolling and definately violates the forum's rules which could result in a ban on your account. It's sad how rude some people are

If you haven't grown before, and it sounds like you haven't, then you are getting way ahead of yourself. Thinking at all about what you're going to yield is just counting chickens before you even have the eggs. There are so many variables, especially for a first grow, that the only real answer to your question is somewhere between 0 grams and a few hundred. Your seeds might not germ. You might get just 1 or 2 females. You could have a hermie pollinate everything before you even realize it. You could have a security situation and have to tear down the grow in the middle of it. You might over/under fertilize or over/under water. You might get spider mites.

At this point, you should concentrate on making sure you're doing everything possible to give yourself a good chance of growing some top quality buds. You're not going to be happy if you get a half pound of buds that no one wants to smoke. Anyway, the energy you use now thinking about your yield would be much better spent making sure you've read everything possible, and have all the basics down.

Words of wisdom, and excellent advice ! I read everything that I could related to growing for almost a year before I started my first grow. It was worth it.

Well its my 3rd grow, my 1st i had to harvest early and my 2nd were just 1 footers i got to harvest 1. So yeah im new but ive done a lot of research and know a lot, I just dont know what to expect in terms of yield. I know .5 gpw is avg but jw if anyones had a similar experience.

Ive read lots of stuff here, but none of it tells you what you'll yield (obviously), so I just wanted to see if anyone has a similar setup and knows an approx yield ya know

I was originally going to do coco, so I read a lot about the coco, read almost every thread.

Now im doing organic soil, been reading every thread, going to be making teas etc.

My 2nd grow the 1 plant I got was hashberry, which is what my seeds are. It was grown in 100 + degree environment with terrible nutrient feedings. And under only 150w of HPS. Although the yield was terrible, the smoke was amazing. It tasted exactly like a mix of hash and berries, and got me very stoneedddd to the bone like a indica. And this was grown badly, so I imagine no matter what people will like the smoke :), I just have to keep temps and nutrients well to get that yield.

Im going to get a pyrex bake a round and make a DIY cool tube for my 400w, I figure that's a good start at keeping temps in check.

I also built my own cab from 2x4's and plastic b&w poly, it sucks tbh, so im going to make a real cab from plywood soon, its hard to get this poly cab light proof, I think my poly sucks. 2 layers and still it glows.

My 2nd grow in the beginning was actually great, I used a T5 flouro on my hashberry but I only had blue bulbs, not red spectrum so they stayed extremely short and compact. Once flowering came I got a 150w HPS and i just didnt have the space for it, or ventilation, it cooked it at 100 but as I said it was still amazing smoke
