Ive notice while talking to stoners around my town that depend on age different smoking pieces are used. A lot of the older folks have told me they dont use glass becuse glass pieces are crack pipes and that they perfer metal. Most of my friends have a combination of metal and glass but dont know of anyone with a vaporizer. I don't know how anyone could prefer metal...makes the bud taste like shit. I'll use it but only when I have to...and now that I think of it I lost my metal pipe lol.

I prefer a glass pipe 99% of the time. I do like to roll up a couple a week though.

I made a home made brass pipe from my old man's plumbing supplies back in the early seventies. I still use it! Hee Hee
Vaporizers (good ones) are pretty dope, but glass will always have a place in my heart. Glass is kind of addicting... you know what I mean. Metal is just foul and I don't see why anyone would use it since glass is widely available. But that's just my opinion... some people dig it.

With joints you never have to worry about bringing a piece, there is always at least one pack of papers in my wallet. Not to mention once they are rolled they are hassle free, even rolling them at this point takes no more than a minute (sometimes more if the bud is to dense and there's no grinder handy).
With that said I still prefer a nice glass piece. I picked up this nasty steam roller this week. It's no ordinary steam roller, the bowls downstem continues down into a beakeresque deal on the bottom of the tube. It hits fairly nicely, hits like a champ but is fairly conservative on the ganj (more so than my bongs and doubler).

My thoughts exactly.
But whatever said or done, I just can't enjoy herb out of small pipes- whether they're glass or metal. I at least need a glass bubbler at the least if I'm not able to carry a bong. But yea, for me at least, joints are my #2 fav. My #1 is clearly blunts...

I'd like to try or buy a vaporizor sometime. I hope my friend buys the volcano at some point soon like he says he is going to. If I do buy one myself it will be the volcano. But till then I don't know what its like to vape weed.
I'd like to find a nice wooden pipe. I think that would be badass. I've seen some really fancy ivory/wood pipes that I would love to own. But only pictures I've seen. Haven't come across any nice old school wooden pipes while out shopping for bongs and stuff.

will agree its the best smoking utensil available, anywhere.
[fwiw: i hate RooR, and the like. this is in no way like a roor, not mass produced, very high end, contemporary glass, with a unque filtration system worked into the glass itself with catches tars before the smoke even hits your lips]
second is a nice 12-14" hand blown straight tube, 1 bubble, on the bottom, where it's supposed to be
a vaporizor is a completely different high, and not very convenient. id say its the most complicated, though healthiest(?) way to do it. just bought a vaporbrothers recently and it gives me a hangover, heh. just a different high, more 'pure' feeling.
joints are a classic, that will always have a special place in my heart, but are very wasteful and harsh. plus they stink really bad so no joints in public,etc.
blunts are just wrong. save em for when you have no other options! just my opinion. smoked blunts for years and body just cant handle it anymore. reflecting back, it was the stupidest thing i could have done with all that weed...so much wasted, so bad for you, and so many better options available where id have been able to taste the actual pot.

i have a silver surfer vaporizer and it rocks!! actually i have 2..had to get one for a spare cause god forbid something happen with the first one i would need a backup.
i love the high...its much better for me...but i'm old...lol

i like my lungs and i intend to have them most, if not all, of my life.
saw a nam with an O2 bottle on his back at the store today and told myself to get a vape again.
i love me a snapper/personal in a really nice glassonglass bong, who here doesnt love that noise you hear when the precision ground joints meet on a thick glassonglass bong
but how long can i subject my poor little lungs to all this grass and hash smoke before somthing bad starts to grow...
so i voted for vape, used to own one, sold it{needed some cash} , and still think it was a bad choice selling it.
it made my lungs feel great, and I had alot of herb at the time, so i would just get a decent amount out of every vape bowl in the VaporBros, and throw the rest into some brownies and get Uber stoned...
If i had the cashmoney to get a volcano i would be all over that, as the whip style vapes can get to be a hassle, in my opinion.
