What do you consider too organic?

I personally would not pee on plants that is a little too organic for me. I have known people in europe that used their feces to fertilize. That also is too organic for my tastes what are your organic limits.

do you mean what kind of organic substances gross us out?

in that case, I'll go with diarreah, cockroaches, semen from an unknown source, little kid's snot, and liposuctioned fat.

as far as growing is concerned... which is most likely the focus of your question... bone/blood meal make me uneasy. ughhh

I have few years of outdoor growing under my belt and I think it would be rediculous and plain stupid to piss or shit in my soil. They sell cow manure compost it works great and it's very organic and cheap. For me it cant be too organic I would like to be able to use blood meal, fish emulsion but the critters have dug my plants up before when I used it.

Pee and feces hersherys squirts or just a turd is too organic for me as far as pee is concerned I have not found a legitimate reason to use it. Some swear by pee. Not so numerous... feces(human). Bone and blood I am simply afraid of with mad cows and all.I guess the composted bat crap I use makes some squeemish.The worm crap and dead powdered worms that are in it grosses some of my pals out.(Not so much my smoke is unpalatable to them).And yes a cockroach would make me have to boil the pot before I smoked it.

I try not to put anything on my plants that I wouldn't eat myself. Well I do use worm poo, but I don't feed them anything I wouldn't/haven't ate, and I would never ever buy any from someone I didn't know. When you buy poo/bloodmeal/bonemeal of any kind in a bag, you don't know what those critters ate on the farm (pressure treated wood, doped up from the vet/owner, ect.). Bats well, they could be eating from sprayed fields they use them like bees for pollanation and all. I would use my own urine(but I don't) before I'd buy anything from a bag aleast I know what I ate... But that's just me, I guess I gross out easy.

urine is bad for your plants. undue to popular belief, it does contain nitrogen, but it is a different type of nitrogen that isnt excellent for your plants. urine also contains ammonia. need i say more?


edit: i would stay away from anything from a human to use as fertilizers. feces, pee.

hair is fine though for outdoor growers to help repel animals but isnt as effective as other methods.

ammonium nitrate is acceptable as long as you dont overdo it...that would be ammonia toxicity and is bad....pee works in low doses whether you believe it or not.

yea it doesnt have that much amonia in it. i wouldnt personelly unless it was a life or death situation but o'boy on "man vs wild" Bear is his name drank a canteen of piss the other night. he was in the outback i think anyway he was drinking it.

ive kinda thought about this question when looking over the wide range of amendments available to me. the premade compost i use has blood and bone meal in it. since its already in the mix i use it but ill never go and buy bags of that stuff. the last thing i want to do is accidentally inhale that stuff.

but the worst thing ive seen so far, since the thread on human turd was fake, is some guy using his gf's menstraul blood. and i know since im a girl that thats yuckie. but to each his/her own.

Blood and bone are still freaking me out how could this be organic in the least when the animals are pumped full of hormones , antibiotics and systemic insecticides larvacides. Menstral blood I have not even began to think about. Good amendments are hard to get here. Pot is not a crime but my occupation depends on me being discrete. I grow my own worm castings. its easy because I fish. Nobody asks what happens to old worms and worm poop. I read an article about a murderer that planted a bed of tomatoes ontop a victem in a shallow grave. Those plants looked real healthy and fooled the constable for a few months. This is why I grow my own smoke pine scented bug killer is sprayed on crappy weed by dealers. I have seen this done and several have admitted it. Latley local MJ has been de trichromed (I examined some for a comrade}I will grow my own and keep my secret. I know pee has nitrogen but mine has salt and medicine. I would not make good plant food.
