what do u use for odor control?

i'm only gonna be gowing 2 plants. deciding what i should use for odor control. cannot have family smell anything. i was planning on using a few odor control gel cans but not sure. i keep reading about people making carbon scrubbers but not sure if i need that for just 2 plants. not using a super stinky strain either, probably bogglegum. what do u guys use?

you can find them other places, too...

i like the Vaportek 4000.- what you choose kind of depends on your space/situation. i don't have a sealed grow, nor any ducting for ventilation, so thats what worked for me...

search the forums here, there's a few posts about odor control. i have not used the ozone light...

keep in mind, low odor does NOT mean NO odor :wink:

you will be glad you are addressing odor control NOW and not later!-do not "go cheap" on this critical part of your grow!!!

so that bulb is used for veg AND at the same time aids in odor control? learn something new every day. are these bulbs good for veg, right Kelvin rating, etc.? if i plan on using 100WCFL, do i use 4 of these 23Wers or just 1 w/ a few regular CFL? thanks.

That's exactly it i was trying to get the link i was smokin a bowl hehe good sh*t sleepy :wink: yep that's the kind i use at the present time accept i use 2x 42 watt ones & i only turn them on when i have company it works great .i enjoy that stank when i'm home alone- lol,vindiesel its low maintenence but do what works the best for your particular situation alot of ppl use carbon .Peace

yes there is a "cool" bulb and a "warm" bulb...check out the link, read the description...i don't know how big your space will be.. i think it covers 100 square ft. you must consider your space as cubic feet though!

yeah my box is only 18"W X 11" deep and 36" high. was planning on using either 4 23W CFL or 2 42W.
*Can these bulbs be used as my only source of light during veg stage?*
if so, there 4 me. i'll use them for veg and during flowering i'll keep them on under scrog w/ HPS on over scrog. with those bulbs and a few odor gel cans and my plug in magnetic odor eliminator, i think i should be good. how does this sound?

i don't see why not...lots of people use CFL for vegging.-this description does not give lumens, though. anyone else have experience with these?

you will flower under HPS, so i say "give it a shot".

I also use a vaportek 4000, I have one for each grow room. I think the work fine.

yes. with or without...it masks the odor completely!

for me it was the best solution, combined with "low odor" strains.
