What could this be please help!

This was taken from my G13 x BSH x G13 girl who is 20 days into flower now. This just appeared overnight and I have no clue as to what it is. She is the only one showing these symptoms. Its showing up on only the fan leaves, and only near the top. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using AN Sensi Bloom A + B, AN Big Bud, AN Senszyme as my nutes as they were given to me by a friend. I'm not to sure what type of nitrogen they contain tho.

Sorta looks like calcium deficiency. Up towards the top of the plant. Burned margins along the leaf. Leaves sure are deep green. This picture is from the sticky in the cannabis infirmary...the complete guide to sick plants by mynamestitch :)

The plant was lsted, but it is the largest of my plants and is the one directly under the lamp. The handtest doesnt feel warm beneath the bulb. It is an aircooled 600w hps

Looks like in the picture, the right leaf blade only has its margin burned and not interior. This suggests to me cal def and not something else. Are the tips burned on alot of leaves? How are the plants being grown? Have you checked ph? It might be low. Are you adding alot of phosphorus? p + ca = insoluble calcium phosphate.

Are you keeping your PH in check? Flucuating PH can cause all the above mentioned. Sorry Sproutco saw where you asked the same right when I hit the submit button.:bat:

There isnt much at all visable leaf tip burn on the plant. It is being grown in a 5 gallon bucket with 70% ff ocean forest and 30% peralite with 1tlbs per gallon dolomite lime added to the soil. Tonight I water again, and I'll make sure to check the runoff ph, last watering it was 6.7

Ph is on the high side. You will get your phosphorus + calcium = calcium phosphate which is insoluble and not available to the plant. If only a few leaves are affected I might not worry about it. We are not growing ornamentals. I would watch for tips of the leaves burning. Check out this zinc deficient plant picture. Were the brown areas on that leaf white before? Are the margins of the leaf wavy? Undulating? Are any leaves twisting like 90 degrees?

Maybe you should provide more pictures of anything unusual. One leaf is kinda hard to go on.

By the shade of green your leaf is I might not rule out the possibility of excess rather than deficiency.

Lights wont be on for a few hours yet. I'll grab more pictures when they come on, but from memory no leaves are twisted on the plant, and the night before I posted the picture up everything was a nice lush green, next morning bam, the one plant was showing that on the upper fan leaves only. The lower fan leaves dont seem to be affected.

Ocean forest soil + AN Sensi Bloom A + B, AN Big Bud, AN Senszyme as my nutes = too much maybe. The spots might be metals in the leaf in excess. How long ago was the plant repotted? Is the ocean forest fresh = containing alot of nutrients still? How much nutes are you adding to the water and are you adjusting ph afterward? You can test the ec (electrical conductivity) of your runoff the same way as with testing the ph. It requires a ec meter. Directions for both testing are in my signature.

A "hot spot" doesn't necessarily mean a physically warm area...it can just be an area that gets more light due to uneven light distribution.

Most nutrient/PH problems will show up on lower growth first, which is why I'm thinking it's an environmental issue (like light distribution) to be affecting only a few leaves on one plant...what are you using for wall covering and what hood are you using? There's got to be something different at that location if the nutes, temps, and everything else are consistent throughout the room.

The plant was repotted 2 weeks before I fliped to 12/12 so they've been in the new pots for roughly 5 weeks now. Tonight when the lights come on I have to water so I'll report back on the runoff ph, but I dont have an EC meter. The nutrient levels im going off are on AN's website, I'm following the light-moderate feeding schedule and using half the reccomended dosage. I always ph my water to 6.3 after I've added the nutrients as reccomended on their website as well. Ill be sure to replort back after I water tonight.

Wall coverings = mylar
Hood = Hydrofarm Daystar AC Reflector

My temps at the tops never goes above 80F, usually its between 75-78. I'm thinking of moving this plant to the outside and moving a shorter one under the light just incase it is a heat issue with the spot. I guess I would find out soon enough if the same spottings are happening to the other plant as well.

You might have to refer to this area in the original post because the paint program causes the pictures to loose some quality and become darker.

Does your fert labels by chance tell % of each element used like 5% calcium or 3% magnesium. See if your ferts your adding are in balance. You want 4:2:1 potassium to calcium to magnesium Too much magnesium, for example, could cause a calcium deficiency. Does the bloom fert have just magnesium and no calcium for example. That would be something to look for.

Only the affected leaves which arent all that many as the problem doesnt seem to penetrate down beneath the canopy. When the lights come on in 4 hours I'll get a picture of the entire plant up here for refrence as I myself dont really know if all the leaves that are spotting like this also have the edge burn you pointed to. I'll be sure to report back and update you as soon as the lights come on

Big Bud powder only contains magnesium and no calcium? Of course you have sources of boron, molybdenum, zinc, copper in the a and b formula right? Or in the bud powder? How much of each of the nutrients are you adding? Part a and b can be used by itself, right?
