what can I do to increase bud size in soil?

I grow a table hydro and 1 soil. The soil is much tastier for sure but never compares to the monster buds the hydro does.

My soil is revs 2.1 mix in 38l pots.
I water with ACT then with water only and I use Pure Blend Pro soil grow and bloom with liquid Karma +Rhiz + CA Mg +Sea Green

The 2 tables are under 3 x 1000watt lights. 2 hps 1 mh
I use co2 at 1100ppm right now.
getting a new gen to go up to 1500ppm

dont think there is a specific thing you can do or else everyone would be doing it.
maybe getting to know the strain you are running so you can make perform to its maximum potential.

i would say use a different strain ,chronic is a damn good one for this ,and a solid smoke too

Well first off you can use soil less mix instead of soil and this growing method is more finicky (more watering,but more porous=faster growth of root zone) Also soil less cost more but will have a greater yield thus making up the difference with the added weight. Light Warrior by Fox Farm and Roots Organics has a soil less media are my choices instead of soil ,I see faster growth and bigger yields in pot/ container growing in soil less and i was using soil for years both roots organics soil and fox farm ocean forest w/ a little added perlite

You could try vegging the plants longer and using some different training methods. You could use aeration containers like air pots or smart pots to get more oxygen to your roots. You could try using different genetics. I have found with soil that less is better when it comes to fertilizers and amendments. Find a good soil, and good grow and bloom fertilizer and that's it. The rest is up to the genes expressing themselves in the environment you provide for them.
