What Are Your 3 "Desert Island" Bands?

Albums are too hard to narrow down so we'll just go with bands.

My three are:

Pink Floyd
Tool
Frank Zappa (oh yeah)

The wife and I just saw the Zappa plays Zappa show and oh my god was it awesome.

Terry Bozzio forever!

Course, if I had a trunk on that island, then i'd throw in:

Steely Dan
Dead Kennedys
Iron Maiden
Allman Bros
Dead
Phish
Queens of the Stone(d) Age
Rush
The White Stripes
The Cars

I could go on....there's really no method to the madness!

:D

Cheers and Peace

Well instead of thinking it over I'll just go with the 3 bands with the most songs on my playlist:

Tool
Led Zeppelin
Sage Francis

BenKrishman

Phish
Dave Holland Quintet
Bach

I could live the rest of my life happily listening to only those musicians, to me its the most incredible music in existence. Though I could swap bach out for other classical composers, that would be a tough choice.

Pink Floyd
Rush

Not only would the music be great but they would be fun to party with too. Although there has to me some chicks and plenty of seeds to grow our own smoke. Now that would be awesome. Kicking back puffing on some island kind, jamming to Zep, Floyd, and Rush. Not to mention chilling with some ladies too.

I feel like my last post was rushed so I am changing them.

Jimmy Buffet
Jim Croche
Eric Clapton

PS-metallica would fill me with rage, not a good thing when stuck on an island.

I need Rage Against The Machine on my list, they'll have to :dueling: to see who gets the boot...scrappy :moon:

I dont think I could ever get tired of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Black Sabbath.

If I had a more options I'd definitly add Megadeth, Metallica, Iced Earth, Hendrix, Children of Bodom, and Pantera.

Just the thought of limiting myself to three bands frightens me. :yoinks:
