What are the options for pesticides after week 4 of flowering?

I have always been an indoor grower and had very secluded and deep grow rooms. Mostly because of the legal aspect but the side effect was an environment free from bugs and outside influences. I have been a grower for 50 years and only had bugs once or twice in all that time.

Now, living in (legal) SoCal, I find myself with 2 gardens. One indoor and one outdoor. This combination has created certain issues and one of them is insects. Now, I am finding bugs to be a regular part of my grow.

I have been using Neem Oil on my breeders since these will never be smoked anyway (STS treated). And, I got powdery mildew recently and sprayed a few outdoor plants with Neem, but they were still vegging and had no real buds yet. The stuff really seems to work but I simply (up until now) refuse to use any pesticides. If I get bugs, I destroy the plant and move on.

I am hoping I can take steps to simply avoid the bugs. Good, healthy plants will not generally attract bugs but just in case it does happen, I am wanting to research a little and prepare myself.

During the veg stage, there are quite a few options. However, after week 4 or 5 of flowering, the buds are pretty well developed and I just can't imagine any kind of spray that won't destroy the flavor and romance of the buds.

Doug C has suggested a low ISO and water mix. Other than that, I am open to anything anyone suggests for late flowering pest control.

Thanks

Hey, that's a good question, Ringo. Even though pyrethrum sprays are not recommended by some. Pyrethrum sprays can be used during early flowering. However, some people have allergic reactions to the spray after smoking it. The spray will decompose in about 7 days and have to be sprayed again. Using a low % pyrethrum bomb or fogger in a garden is common practice in some areas. I don't use anything but some people have no choice.

No lipophilic products.
No systemic products.

For powdery mildew there is ampelomyces quisqualis(biological fungicide).

however, for each parasite and pathogen there are specific products.

I use Growsafe Bio pestacide. Its Organic Soybean oil, Corn oil, coconut oil, Sunflower oil, and Citric Acid. There are other similar products.

Alternative to spraying pesticides

Predator mites from koppert.com ( select country and pest problem)

Good mites that eat the bad mites/eggs, use all the way until harvest , best applied as go into flowering or after you stop spraying anything.

Spical for Spidermite , you want at least 5 sachets each plant or more, more for outdoor plants

I use this company for predator mites when I have issues in my greenhouse or tents. It's a very informative site, even if you don't purchase from them.
