What are the laws/penalties for growing shrooms in Canada ?

I believe the wet shrooms to be a gray area. They can charge you for the dry ones though. Peace GS

No grey. Both wet and dried are illegal. Schedule 3 prohibits the active ingredient. Possession 3 year max, traffic and possession for the purpose 10 year max and production 10 year max. Actual sentences will vary depending on case law and fact patterns. I can't recall if the CDSA changes coming in November move them to Schedule 1 or impose mandatory sentences.
I know several peeps that have been to court over shrooms. None have been unsuccessful. Last one was a dude sent 5 lb. in the mail. The dude receiving hassled the courier service constantly about the package, which was discovered. This one was a total fuck up, as it was the only time he used his real return addy{Won't do that again}. Took a lawyer. but it was thrown out.
Shrooms in my area have become less and less common{LSD too) over time. This has made them more of a commodity, once you build a market. Building a market can be tough in an area deprived of shrooms. Good luck. If they were legal, they'd be cheap and hard to make cash from. Peace GS

I was told that in canada there were no laws that prohibit production of mushrooms. But if sold as a drug then you can have trouble. Maybe im wrong?
