What are the best places to live in Canada?

Lately I've been trying to plan another home I can live at and I don't know which city or province I should live in. I am visiting British Columbia and Alberta in the summer though to see what it's like and if I like it I might live there for 3 months on a visa (If your part of the commonwealth you get this straight away) and hopefully meet some new people. Right now I haven't decided any cities yet but I'm debating between these 3 provinces which is British Columbia,Alberta and Ontario. I might go for a road trip as well so if you have any suggestions on what places I can visit I would appreciate it.

BC or any province on the East coast. PEI and NB are our Bible belts.

There's a whole bunch of stuff between the Rockies and the Bay of Fundy, but no one goes there.

If you're into the urban scene, Van and Vic are ok, but if you want to own your house and like where you live, the countryside is prime. Van has a neat scene and good food, though a bit trendy/douchbaggie. Expect manbuns. Vic draws Brit expats, hippies, rich retirees and hordes of homeless. It's like their Xanadu.

It's a bitch getting anything new or different outside of the city or on the islands in BC (gear wise) but no one raises an eye when you roll up to a garden centre for 20 bales.

The east coast is salty earth people, old fishing towns and donairs. With donair sauce. Learn it, know it, love it.

My objective, unbiased opinion ;)

anywhere in bc is good or i can vouch for toronto. it really depends on what you are looking for in a lifestyle. toronto is very multicultural and lots of fun but the weed scene is literally a few years behind bc. i wouldnt recommend the east coast unless you know people. jobs and connects are hard to find and their social resources suck. tell us what you are looking for so we can welcome you to cannada. oh ya. we spell it with 2 n's now ;)

Cheap living, don't have to worry cooling your beer down in the winter, just toss it outside for a few min lol

5 words that show I know exactly how bad of an idea this is; "Portage and Main in winter" - literally, hell frozen over.

BC is best for weed tourism - the entire country is awe inspiring

PS - Wolverine is Canadian, our weed gave him those powers

That's all you had to say.

If they knew the full extent of the depravity our hipsters sink to, they wouldn't come.

Unless we gave it a zoo-esque atmosphere like Portland did. Savanna tours through downtown Van.

"Watch as the urban hip swagger through the herd, armed with 7 dollar hot drinks drowning in adjectives, unrestrained ego spilling forth by way of eccentric dress, in a futile attempt to attract females of the subspecies. To your left... Sir, safety regulations require you to stay back from open windows. Thank you."

i cant lie. i have wondered what it would be like to douche out for a day. just to officially count how many people i could douche splash in one day. here is one that crosses the line. does anyone realize they sell a mini fedora to sit on the mini man bun? im sorry. if i see a guy with a manbun, with a mini fedora on it. i WILL proceed to knock it in a puddle and see what the wearer has to say about said $8 wet mini fedora. as highly unlikely as it is i would have to take one for the team. i would be just fine getting douche whipped just one...
