For indoor in an illegal market you are talking around 4k per pound. In a medical market you are talking 2k per pound. The big secret? Now I turn 100% of my buds into Hash Oil and am able to fetch 5k to 10k per pound of flowers turned into oil. I don't know why I didn't figure this out sooner. There are many things to turn oil into to maximise profits. Hint.
Economic Efficiency. It hasn't been acceptable to the free market to price refining pot for over 100 years and never with the potency of now. Oil's where it's at.
Dam is about to break loose on national level in a few years I reckon.

Being ahead of the curve is where the money is. Everybody grows bud so it's harder to get rich moving buds. Oil is closer to the forefront of the industry. It makes you ahead of the curve. In a few years you will have to find another forefront. The industry is always changing. Stay at the forefront and you will be successful. You must change with the times.
What process do you use for oil? Isn't moving oil a lot more a nitch market?
I made some oil last night with iso alcohol. It's just so hard to work with and is messy.
prices vary due to location,availability and quality...I only buy samples now and then..i am more of a seller than buyer.....

Prices are insane around here. $480-500 an ounce for some made up strain. Just plain stupid.

Wouldn't it be fairer to say this what you've decided to do going forward, not something you've done? Basing that conclusion on another thread you have going. Important distinction.
It takes about 4 pounds of bud to produce 1 pound of oil. 1 oz of pure oil cost about $1,500 per oz which is 6k per pound of bud. Then you can turn the oil into various products to maximize profits further.

I've been moving oil for a few years now. I used to make it with trim and smaller buds but I just started turning all my buds into oil in the last week. Last year I was getting up to 2k per oz and then some games got played by my broker and the price went to 750 and now the price is back to 1500 an oz. I've also been making products with the oil for more money. Turning all my bud to oil is new to me but it's the future and not a lot of competition in my area. I'm required to build my market from the ground up.
