what 2 strains make up a ICE?

Like I said above..I dont know what 2 strains are in a ICE.....I have a close friend that asked me and I didnt know myself?!

Gypsy could you help me out?

Actually the original ICE from Paradise seeds is composed of White Widow, Special Skunk, and Northern Lights. Not too sure which version of ICE Katsu is referring to.

According to Female Seeds, they say their ice is the original. The base for everyone elses ice, including gypsys. And this is what they have to say about it;

The ICE ® is a selected pheno out of a Skunk Special X White Widow cross, back in '96. She was selected out of 500 females, because she had best of both sides. The enormous buds of the Skunk Special, the trich coverage and power of the White Widow, with an Indica look.
During the High times Cup of '98, the highest THC-levels were measured in the ICE. (published in Weed World).
Years of backcrossing and cubing have been spend to stabilise this cross towards the first pheno-type. Even a little bit of Blue Berry was crossed in and stabilised again. She smells like a diesel (fuel) and the flowering period is 8 weeks.

Oh, and I got some ice growing now, just popped them. (100% germ rate, love the breeders packs FS!) Will be posting a grow log soon. I can't wait to test out my new $700 digi....

Ice is very underrated. I'm revisiting this strain because of my last 3 grows which included Soma's NYC Diesel, RM's Grapefruit, and Serious Seeds Kali-Mist, Ice was hands down the best of the 4. (growing conditions and nutes + lights haven't changed) The potency was unequaled as far as my opinion goes and those whom I shared all my harvests with. As for yeild, the grapefruit, kali mist and ice were very close. I could have let the kali go longer and would have seen a large increase but I grow inside and don't have that luxury.

So with the yeilds being similar, and of the 3, the potency of the ice was ass kicking, my vote goes there. This time however, I will be able to post a grow log and pictures. I want to share with the world, my experience of this underrated strain.

BTW, grow details are: DWC with GH nutes using lucas & RO water, bubble cloner, PH kept at or near 5.75, a 1k HPS light, DIY carbon scrubber with DIY fan & ventalation. Each plant gets 4 gallons of water. I'm debating on getting 2 of those 18-20 gallon sterlite tub and putting 6 plants in each, and keeping 2 mothers, taking a plunge and doing the perpetual.

(what does everyone else pull with a perpetual harvest with their 1k watters?)
