Wet weather immediatly before harvest

I'm down to the last few days now before the end of the stretch. I'm wondering about wet weather before harvest, I don't want to end up bringing in damp soaking buds or having to dry them any longer then normal. Would you say 24 hours after a medium rain fall would be ok to cut?

i think if the humidity is low and the plant is dry it should be fine, you might have to dry for a couple more days due to your plant getting watered recently

Rain washes trichomes off big time. We decided at og that plants need several days to re-build them...I face the same situation...pounding rain for days but if frost is not the issue I say wait.

rain "washes" off trichs?
thats not what ive found. especially because most of the trichs are not hit directly by rain, and their chemical nature tends to repel water.

i have harvested my plants in pouring rain, tropical moisure drifted inland, there was no sign that the weather would imporve.
humiditiy is your issue. a night of rain followed by a sunny day, is fine. a rainy day followed by 2 or 3 cloudy high humidity days... bad.

a rain soaked bud isnt a problem to dry, especially if you can control the drying environment. just shake it off, trim it, and shake it off again. maybe increase the ventilation a bit.

:chin: Tricombs are not water soluable.....Yer comment about them washing off, is simply not true....If rain washed off tricombs big time, all of us outdoor growers would be fucked...

Its quite the opposite. Stress is gonna increase tricomb coverage...

Rain has no effect what so ever on Trichromes...there oil base. Now what can and will happen..you're plants will snap and break branches due to the extra water weight. I've chopped huge plants in the middle of a torrential downpour..if anything, it washed all the dust off the leaves..haha.Just shake it off and dry as usual...

the only way trichomes could get washed off by rain is if rain was alcohol or oil, because its a known fact that thc is not water soluable.
