As long as it doesn't smell bad it should be good. I don't know the whole history of what that bag has really gone thru. If Just one bag, pick up another bag at another source. If u decide to use it and have more then one plant transplant one first then the rest a few days later. Just a couple of ideas that might help. Goodluck. digdug!

Highlight,
I would dump it out, and spread it out to about 4" deep to dry partially. When you do this, carefully examine it for Root Aphids. This is if it still smells good. If it starts smelling bad, spread it on your grass and water it. Good luck. -granger

Your OK. I am used to buying happy frog soil bags that are supposed to be 30-40lbs. But sometimes you just get the 50lb+ bags that suck to drag into the house. lol.

I've never had bugs come from FF soil.

Even when I buy from an indoor hydro store somehow they are waterlogged Too.

Although you will probably be fine, spread it out in a closed area that you can control and let it dry on out, i have done that for many things when the soil got too wet to dry itself out.
Not live plants, of course :woohoo:
