I have no idea what happened to British Hempire, other than that he had to abandon his grow due to family issues, but he was doing amazing work with landrace sativas back in the day.
In 2008 he sent my friend and fellow ICmager (RIP) dkmonk and I some amazing Colombian Gold x Malawi Gold seeds and it was extraordinary. It was insane that he was able to make these incredible landrace sativa crosses inside in a fairly small grow in the UK.
