My house is single story and kinda long, i thought i was gonna be okay just ising an older heavy ass carbon filter was gonna do the trick, but when i went to go take a leak and turn on the bathroom fan/light it reeked of herbs, kinda made me smile for a moment then i realized its gonna cost me 2 bills in a new phresh air filter.

O well , the small price to pay for great herbs.

Well still kinda finsihing up, im on week 5 of this bubba kush and it ls my first time back to doing indoor in years, this will be my 3rd or 4th ever indoor pull. Feel free to kick down advise. Beside buy gavida, i know i know, I'm Workn on it for next cycle

200 bucks for a filter...crazy...

I use 140 a pop jobbies(mountain air I think) and a re-fillable can fan my buddy modded (60bucks to fill with activated carbon...bitch of a time settling it and putting on the lid)..

Why so pricey...do they last longer?

You could plug it into the bathroom fan extract pipe, with a T section, use a small plastic 'door' or screen to prevent the smell falling back to the bathroom..?

Ive had one of these in the past, they are the best around, i currently have an old school HEAVY and HUGE one that just isnt doing the trick, i looked at refilling it with new carbon but by the time i paid for what it holds im 2/3rd the way to a new one, plus lets be honest, that shits so messy and dirty and by the time ur done filling ,shaking, filling , shaking all night its just not worth it to me, i consider a filter like lamps, just an operating cost that u gotta take in the shorts to maintain ur interest. Im also a renter ( and i never modify a house to where i cant put back in orig condition, minus the anchors in cement thst u pound flush when done) but maintaining a oder free grow is a top priority to me, so cost equals out in my case.... But theses filters are made of superior quality and are feather weights compared to old school filters.
Sized by CFM fan that its attached to....

Plus , whats 180 bucks for somethin im so balls deep into anyways. LoL
Not only cash , im talkn blood , sweat, and shear scares....
Ive done my whole set up by myself, no help from anybody. Im now an expert at holding 9 effin things at once , LoL
Im just a hobby grower, with a family and pullin 40 hours a week at my POS office job.
And i sure do love me some dank for me n the wife.

My bathroom fan is around 80 CFM , tops id say 110cfm , in my grow room i have a 900cfm 8" fan that sucks skunk air into filter and blows in to attic , does an half ass good job..thats on 24/7. I also have an 6" 650cfm fan that is hooked to temp control, if room gets above 82 it kicks on. And that really doesn't help me keep the smell down but if for sure as shit solves the hi temp issue. The room has quite a bit of negitave preasure ( door wants to pull inward closed) , i try to keep it this way to insure air moves across the whole room as my intake. (2 filtered 18" holes no fan) is on oppsite side of room , When i get my new phresh filter il put that on the 8" thats on 24/7 and il stash my HEAVY one in the attic to clean that air off the 6" fan i use for heat control. And im sure il get screwed into running those ducts to the outside gable vents so i can get it out side but hopefully it wil be clean enough air i can just dump it in the attic and save my self tons of money on ducting, cause that shits way over priced..

I agree with you 100% I've got a Mountain Air filter that has been running for almost a year now with no smell in my exhaust. Having it is worth the peace of mind.
