San Francisco will retroactively apply California's new marijuana legalization laws to prior convictions, expunging or reducing misdemeanors and felonies dating to 1975.

I'd love to see this happen nationwide in my lifetime. I was lucky to have not been caught when I was growing on the East Coast.

I think I'll be mostly safe just growing for personal use in the Bay Area. Nobody really cares about home growers here if you aren't trying to sell it.
