Weird Sex Organs! Please Help!

Hello,

This is my first post. I'm doing my first small grow with seeds. I've done one before, but it was from clones. I'm growing Cheesy Dick, Moby Dick, and Dutch Passion Power Plant. All of them are from feminized seeds.

Most of my plants have started to show sex. I'm waiting on a few of the CD and MD, but most of them are looking female. However, the Dutch Passion Power Plant looks... weird. I guess they look male, but I'm not sure. Their sex bits look more like a new leafy branch growing out. It's odd that out of 5 feminized seeds, all of them would be male. I'm feeling panicky. I don't know if I should pull them or not. They've started showing a few days ago and I'm worried they'll polinate my other ones (the few I have left!).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, It has been topped, but if that's the case, then it should be having 6 mains shouldn't it? Because if you look at the first picture, you can see the larger two mains coming off the sides of the topped stalk and then the smaller weird things growing where the calyx should be.

I didn't realize you can get males out of Feminized seeds. I thought that was the whole idea of them being feminized is that they are guaranteed to be ladies? Wait I'm confused.....lol

I've read that it's pretty common for 1 out of 10 to be male with fem seeds.

i believe many 'males' found in feminized seeds are from light leak hermies. light from plug strips, ballasts, a/c units, timers.. what else? all can affect your girls.

I have had this happen before. 1-2 sets of leaves pop out where calyx should be, but never form a branch or bud. Also had leaves start then curl back and a calyx grows out anyway. For what it's worth, they have all ended up being females. These were non feminized seeds fyi.

Looks like new lateral branches from where you topped

That would mean I topped once and got 6 main colas.

I have two main stalks growing from where I topped, then the 4 strange growths.

Lucky top job lol? Idk but they definitely don't look like any sex organs that I've ever seen. Male, female, or intersex.

They're growing from the base of the two most mature tops from what I can tell from the pictures, not from where the pistils or balls form. Give it some time you're alright, pollen sacks take time to mature then theyll eventually fall and open.

if youre not flowering yet, Give them a week you'll be able to tell more clearly by then

It looks like where preflowers would form to me...junction of fan leaf stem and new branch. Anyway, just wanted to add that the plants that i have seen this on took some extra time to show...just be patient. Maybe take light period down to 18/6 if you haven't already.

Calm down, you bought feminized seeds. There's no way all are male unless there was some sort of mislabeling/shipping error. If you don't have any light leaks, and you got your seeds from a reputable source, the chances of a feminized seed turning up male is very slim as the colloidal silver solution they spray on the plants kills the male chromosome. There are a few threads and a sticky on it.
