I am growing some silver kush by RP. I know the og 18 in it can be finicky and can be stressed easy. I have grown this strain for the past year and have an understanding of what my colas should look like. On this past grow I had colas that developed a second stretch late flower. They look like they have a really thin pencil top, with very little fan leaves. Usually I will get some fox tailing but nothing like this. Some look like extra shoots. I have a few theories but haven't nailed one down.
Theory 1: I switched to house and garden nutrients, as well as liquid koolbloom by gh. I am not sure whether this caused a fox tailing extra stretch.
Theory 2: my 1k light was too close to my tops and caused lite stress. There was some bleaching(This crop got a little tall) they were about 10 inches from my Ac blockbuster hood. I believe this theory is my strongest since the plant directly under the light had the greatest amount of second stretch with very little buds.
Theory 3: my friend who was supposed to take care of my plants while I was away missed a day of watering.
Theory 4: Rootbound- haven't harvested yet but they are in 1gal smart pots in coco. They drink once every other day although I will usually go once a day hand water dtw.
Theory 5: some sorta of a nutrient def/ excess. Very little leaf tip burn, no more than usual.
If you have any background on the subject and can give me some advice on what theory you think it might be it would be greatly appreciated.
