Weird looking lower leaves...

Hi,

I went through alot of troubles to get my plants where it\\\'s at right now. But there is still endless problem need to be solved.

SOIL:
What STRAIN are you growing? Skunk
What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?) Seed
What is the age of your plants? 7 weeks
How Tall are the plants? 2.5 feet
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? Veg
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) not decided yet probably make it into a mother.
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) 3 gal
What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) Sunshine mix #4 with about tblsp per gal and 20% more perlite.
What Nutrient\\\'s are you using? How much of each with how much water? How Often? *Knowing the brand is very helpful* PlantProd 20-20-20 i use about 1/4 of the recommended amount, i water slowly until i see some run off (over a liter). i gave it twice a week.

What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? Unkown yet, bought the wrong calibration solution
What is the pH of the \\\"RUN-OFF\\\"? about 6.2-6.4
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen? Hanna pH pen
How often are you watering? about every three days.
When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding?3 days ago.
What size bulb are you using? initially i use 400 MH with lumatek ballast, but with adequate fan, i can\\\'t lower the temperature without leaving my growtent open. Plus it\\\'s some what overkill for just 2 plants. Now i\\\'m using 4 23watt 4100k CFL and 2 26watt 6500k CFL.

What is the distance to the canopy? about 3 inches
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity)when lights are on it\\\'s about 35% and when off is about 50%
What is the canopy temperature? about 24-25C
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range)day 22-24C, night 19-20C
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.)don\\\'t know exact but more than enough for my tent. about 50 cfm maybe, but doesn\\\'t matter, my tent is only about 50-60 cubic feet.
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? yes
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist? moist
Is your water HARD or SOFT? hard
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? Tap for now, before i used to mix with distilled water but it\\\'s troublesome and costly.

Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched? Yes pruned many times, trimmed off lower branches and fan leaves. it\\\'s also topped as well.
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when? not since i switch to sunshine mix #4, the old soil has some orange egg in it, don\\\'t what is it. Some little flies can be seen, but they seems to die off or something because i haven\\\'t seen one in weeks.
Are plant\\\'s infected with pest\\\'s? No.

Here goes with the pics showing the problem. It\\\'s only happen on lower leaves. Maybe it doesn\\\'t get enough light?

And here is the rest of the plant

This is second plant, the smaller one.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

whatever the problem was, the plant seems to have outgrown fthe problem, after the damage is done, its done. The plant isn't able to heal holes in its leaves as humans skin repairs itself. Most of the new growth looks nice besides the tips on the fans being a tad burnt they look good!

What you show in pic#2 as a close-up is physical damage or scarring.
The plant overall looks quite healthy.

I agree, my first thought looking at one of those pics was something attacked\bite/ate that leaf.

Your plants are looking great, those overall shots are of a healthy plant. If you never notice any pests around, maybe one did it and died before breeding, maybe it got torn from training as a younger plant.

What ever it is, its not spreading, and your plants are looking good. Your hard work in getting them to this point is going to be rewarded.
