Looks like heat to me. 6 to 8 inches is close unless you got an air cooled hood. Maybe this pheno doesn't like the soil, but I say heat.

Switch from 24/0 to 18/6 light. 6" away is close. I would raise the light to about 1' simply due to the heat. After about 3 weeks in ocean forest, you should begin weakly feeding with every watering. You will have better results if you ph adjust the fert water after adding everything.

yup, I agree with Core; low humiidty and dry heat is causing your leaves to curl; tou need to keep a steady temp and bring the humidity up a bit if you can; use a humidifier in the area for spurts at a time...... 30 min on then off for a bit; you will need to get a timer though.

As for the heat; you need to keep temps under 80; anything over 85 will make the plants transpire quicker.

it might be the strain cause i have some plants doing that exact thing and none of the other strains are showing the same thing.

That's acute heat stress, plain and simple.
Romdog, the reason you'd get only a single plant in a room showing that has to do with 'hot spots' under the light rather than strain. Move your plants around, put the shortest ones under the hot spot, or raise your lights. You'll see the problem vanish, or be transferred to whatever plant is now under the hot spot if it's still too warm there.

Second that. But there is also a low humidity prob. If you havent got a humidifier you could try putting some wet towels over a heat source. Be safe tho!
aH.
Your light is way too low for such a young plant man. Thats causing most of your probs. Could try putting wet towel over your hood (taking good care not to fry it of course!)
