Week 2 flowering and I'm worried it's going to outgrow the closet PICS

So I'm on week 2 of flowering and at this rate she's going to outgrow the closet!? I have to raise the light by 3 in everyday. Is it too late for LST? What to do?

Also is it normal for some of the giant fan leaves up to too be dieng out?

Well by the looks of it you have at least another foot to raise that light if needed, and if you're at 2 weeks into flowering your stretch should slow down anyday now to a steady slower growth pattern. Should basically start getting fatter now instead of taller. You'll probably be just fine

She looks pretty sativa dominant to me. I would think you'll have another week of growing.

The top fan leaves on the plant should not be dying. It looks to me like you have some heat stress on those top fan leaves.

What kind of light are you using?

a sunsystem 150 hps I've been keeping it as close as I can to reduce stretch.. Shall I move it further?

The issue is that you have a pretty tall plant and a relatively small light. Light intensity diminishes at 25% per foot, so by the bottom of your plant you aren't really getting good lumens.

However, your plant looks like it has some heat stress, and you don't want that either.

The solution?

LST your plant to try and limit the total vertical height. Your bucket will work perfectly for LST. If you need to just drill some holes at the top of your bucket and use it to tie down the plant.

The next step is to move the light down, and keep it as close as possible without burning. A simple way to test this is to stick your bare arm, palm up, under the light. If you can keep it there comfortably for one minute your plant should be able to withstand it.

yeah you should try some kind of training so you get more buds near the light and reduce the height of the plant. lst (bending the plant downwards) should work. do some reading on the forums about it

Well long story short I may or may not have been too stoned to be working on the plant but anyway I was tying it over for some lst and ended up snapping the stalk. I braced the branch and it's doing great and I got more space. It's been 3 days since

next time, just bend the soft uppermost tip, and tie it down, now 2 days later, re-tie it again at the tip, and again 2 days after that, and again as it grows

now you GREW the plant into a "U-turn", instead of trying to bend it all at once

you tried to bend it way too far down on the stalk, but no worries, she looks like she is still growing towards the light.

(whats the can of pabst do?)

gently bend the tip and secure it, never force it down man, but hey we live and learn from our mistakes

Here we are week 5 into flowering. I finished my
New cab this weekend and transferred my girl into it. Of course it didn't fit so I had to Frankenstein it down with a ton of twine. The temp stays at 80 with 60% humidity. I got a Dayton 239cfm on top for exhaust and 2 intakes on either side on tr bottom.

The buds are lookin delicious and very crystally
