I see a lot of peeps storing their stash in plastic bags. This is possibly the worst place u could store ur weed. THC stores i ur bodies fat cells, plastic is chemically very simular to fat cells, and ur trichomes bond to the plastic. This bonding takes away from the potency of ur weed. So please stop putting the herb u work so hard to make the best into plastic bags.

this girl will never se plastic and neither should yours.

You know it! I use nothing but glass. air tight glass jars that i bought at the local hardware store.

To anyone reading this thread: I recommend wide-mouth canning jars if your gonna buy em new, fits colas in nicely, no breakage. Mason makes a nice jar.

well you better think again. its a proven fact that tricromes stick to plastic and not glass. therefor there is no way to remove the tricromes from the plastic. thats lost buzz. watch your baggie. it will get white and cloudy. thats keif going to waste

trichs stick to glass though too, but atleast you can get them off....i've got wide mouth glass jars just glazed with trichs from top to bottom....but there is no argument here that plastic sucks period.....some people bring there outdoor harvest home in plastic bags and garbage bags....thats another waste....if you have to use a bag to transport atleast have it be paper....5 gallon jars is the way to go!

Yep alittle iso alcohol or everclear melts it right off,throw it ina glass cake pan and light it, burn off the alcohol;instant hash oil.Yeah, I like glass alright...take care...BC

Hello all,

S_a_H, great stash- all the same strain or mixed?

Here are the jars I recommend.

I prefer wire bail lids to screw-on lids. The lid has a nice thich rubber seal that is removable and washable. The wide mouth makes getting buds in and out easy.

Good thick heavy glass.

The smaller is my person carry jar- holds about a 1/4 nicely. It to has the same attributes as the other jars.

I picked these up at an arts and craft store.

I also have three large mouth ball jars that if I ever get to fill with buds.

PS: It is interesting to see that after a few days of curing of fresh buds, as teh oxygen is consumed, a vacuum forms inthe jar and the lid will stick to the jar. So when you left the lid you get the sucking air sound (very faint).

DUDE!!! I was with you brother! untill this part.. wha wha what? I hate to break it to ya but the heads are going to stick to anything cause they are sticky.. It has nothing to do with THC, fat cells, and plastic.

I'm a glass man myself but that's just cause it's more air tight then plastic.

You can recover the heads from glass though....try scraping them off a plastic baggie and get back to me....

It's especially sad with the real frosty stuff....you can just see the bag get foggier and know it's all going to waste

Dude it has everything to do with fat cells and plastic. Plastic is a petroleom product, fat cells are oily(sp), chemically they are very similar, hence the chemical bond. Iit happens at the molecular level, I can get it back from glass. not true from plastic. It is your stash, do what you like, I am to old to argue with kids about this, as it really does not affect my stash at all. I was just trying to help others with their stash.

Yeah glass is definitely superior. You can scrape the excess crystals off of glass...no way you can do that with a paper or plastic bag.

I like to use the little jars (on the left) sometimes for hash, or really special grass i wanna save a gram or two of and let cure forevvver


speaking of wasting trichomes... use a set of cuticle scisors or soomthing and stop coating your fingers in trichomes... unless you wanna smoke your fingers..
