weed prep before cooking

I was wondering if you need to dry and cure your weed before cooking it into butter or milk. Do you need to dry and cure it before cooking? Would it be stronger if you dried and cured it, or if it was freshly harvested?

It will probably be just as strong, but a cured bud will taste much better because chlorophyl tastes like crap. I would definitely suggest drying the bud well if you're not going to cure it. I'd let it dry thoroughly, more than if I were to cure it.

yeah it does have to be dried, jsut like you would us any herb, if not then you will get all the nasty stuff like the chlorophyl and your nutes (if you didnt flush) and other stuff.

i woudl think the only thing you could use right away to cook with is maybe bubblehash, if youve got the bags and such.

other than that, yeah, dry it out

Its good to have it properly cured. This gives the THC Amides time to breakdown into actual THC. This is one of the benefits of good curing.
